I do not think so. I think that when you have Mikey say "I promise I won't show a soul" then cut to Mikey showing his Brothers, it feels like he knew all along that Mike would show his brothers. In fact the only reason the other turtles show up at Bradford's Dojo is because Splinter identifies the kata and tells them where it came from, leading them to realize Mikey is in trouble.

If all that evidence isn't enough then the fact that Bradford actually says "All part of the trap" after tying up and not killing Michelangelo, cements it was his master plan all along

I have to say I'm quite happy with this show. This version of Splinter and the Turtles don't seem to follow the code of Bushido, thank God

It's that time again:
*Yea! Clancy Bradford!
*Someone's been watching a lot of Aladdin. Seriously, Street Rat?
*So Shredder and Splinter were old war buddies. Is that where the Splinter nickname, that Bradford seems to know, came from.
*Ninja Tag goodness...
*Seen it...I mean, look the Mittens scene.
*I'll be back after I've watched it at least once...

I'm just saying, they didn't need to be lured in by a kata. They would've gone after Mikey if he simply didn't come home.

So you're actually going around advertising that you have links to full episodes.

What fans! Pirating the show instead of actually supporting it! You guys are the real heroes.

I’m not pirating anything, there are lots of ways to Support a show like buying the toys and DVDs, and guess what? the DVD isn’t out yet or is it?

Not all of us have the oportuniy to watch the show in its original day time.

Thats no excuse. Buy the episode on itunes. Wait for the dvd to come out. Nick's website or Amazon. You don't just pirate the damn thing.

And yes it is pirating. It's also against the rules of the forum.

It's still sh*tty for "fans" to do things like what you're doing.

Nothing about big companies or whatever garbage you use to justify it. YOU CAN WATCH IT FOR FREE ON THEIR WEBSITE.

I don't see anything wrong with torrenting, but ethics aside its quite off topic and download links are against the rules and should be the valid argument

Except. I can't. I've bought Splinter, April, all 4 Turtles, and Metalhead. nick hasn't posted the episode on their website. I don't -HAVE- iTunes. And i have DirecTV, so no viacom networks at all.

Where's MY recourse? "Keep circulating the tapes"

I'm not justifying ****, but when's the last time a TV show aired with a "don't record this and show it to people." disclaimer? They don't.

Will this stop me from buying the DVD's? Hell no. Nothing beats a good DVD boxset. Will this give me a chance to watch the episode when I have no other options yet? Why yes, yes it does.

It sure did. Seems like dude just wants to justify piracy, even if it means lying.

Also, although I'm fairly sure it's a coincidence, his character design reminded me a lot of this particular extra from the previous cartoon.

I was thinking the same thing about the way he looks. Maybe someone in the designing team really enjoyed Turtles Forever.

My favourite line of the episode was from Leo.

Spoiler:

Mikey (after performing his absurd "Secret kata"; whispers) - But don't tell anyone you saw that.
Leo (straight face) - No problem.

The delivery was top notch. I'm loving Jason Biggs' voice acting in this series. My favourite thus far (Hoon Lee and Sean Astin being my 2 other favourites).

I don't need to justify it when I openly download TV shows every week. if someone wants to send me a C&D i'll stop, otherwise... I'll do what I do, and if it proves to be illegal, someone will let me know by threatening legal action.

Meanwhile, I just realized that the Viacom networks were removed from my channels list during the mess and I had forgotten to re-add them... grrr... I really need to get one of the newer DirecTV boxes... one of he ones that automatically adds "new channels" instead of forcing me to add them manually...

Anyways. Having now watched the episode I can safely say that, it seems like spliner took his new name long before he became a Rat. If he was in hiding in America building a new life, then yeah. It makes sense he'd change his name. nothing says the Foot couldn't have learned it... And then later lost track of him when the Kraang literally forced him to move into a sewer to hide his new form.

If I was looking for a Japanese guy in Japan. I wouldn't suddenly be looking for a Rat living in a sewer in NYC. It's just not much of a logical thing to do.

Liking that Splinter has been telling the Turtles about Shredder and his betrayal heir whole life, instead of just springing it on them after Shredder appears like 2k3 Splinter did.

It makes sense that April would be hanging around the Sewer den. If it's summer, as earlier stated in this thread... Then she's literally got ALL DAY to herself. If I had awesome Mutant ninja friends, I'd want to spend my summers chilling with them.

Mikey is a cat lover! hooray! He's so freaking adorable in this series. Can't help but like him. Especially when he whups an international martial-arts superstar with his own signature move! I personally like it when Mikey is depicted as competent.

Nice to see Raph NOT being a hothead. The "Brothers" story really does seem to fit with how they act and react to one another.

Splinter and Leo's exchange was... interesting. The Turtles have ALWAYS played heroic roles. "Turtles fight with honor!" etc... But it grounds it in an eerie sort of realism when you remember, Splinter isn't teaching the Turtles the art of invisibility just so they can be superheroes. His role is to teach his sons to fight TO SURVIVE. I think the "Chase victory at all costs!" lesson is very solidly placed here.

Nice to see them emerging from the water. They may be, genetically, half-Human. But they ARE still Turtles. It's not shocking at all to think they can last underwater for extended periods of time. The 2k3 series was especially fond of overlooking this, giving them (awesome-looking, admittedly) SCUBA equipment and having them nearly-drown from time to time. On top of that, they're ninjas. Trained to keep their metabolism down even in the heat of battle.

Wow, kind of a long episode-rant huh?

Loved Mikey NOM NOM NOMing on the magazine. I'd love to get an animated .gif of that scene. Raph's "You -ARE- an idiot!" line had me in stitches. All in all, a VERY strong episode. It moved the Foot plot forward, set up plo bunnies for future battles... I loved every moment!
