Don't worry, the mousers aren't it. The clip is pretty much just Raph and Leo bragging that they are better fighters than Mike and Don, and Mikey is insulted and says that Leo and Raph think of him and Don as a "B Team". Leo then compares Mike and Don to that space show that he watches.

now I haven't gotten to that far in the old show, nor have I gotten that far in archie series wasn't he kind of on the ... slow level... if they go with that aspect, his mind may not be well in the head thus why he thinks, They didn't save me=They betray me = must kill the man that treated me so well = RAWR = Palm Trees

as for the name... did they give a reason why Yoshi was named Splinter in the new show... the fred wolf show gave a reason, a very VERY stupid reason, but a reason non the less... perhaps he takes up the name Slash (one because of his messed up mind) and The Kraang had him as Project S.L.A.S.H.

No. Slash is an evil name, Spike reminds me of someone who thinks he's badass but really isn't.

Slash isn't an evil name. It's a verb. Besides why would he just change his name to that out of nowhere? He'd just as soon rename himself Maurice.

This Slash topic is starting to get ridiculous. Let's just wait and see. The series is awesome. No doubt about it, we're going to get something good along the way.

To Donatello19: the turtles are teenagers, so it doesn't surprise me that they all get cocky. Even Leo was cocky in "The Gauntlet," but he learned that they weren't ready for some things in life. Still, some habits just don't die down immediately. All the turtles have flaws. I'm hoping you're not beginning to hate where this episode is going. In fact, I think it looks fun.

No, if they're going to use a blatantly similar character to an old one, just use an old one. Its like I said, what if the new mutant gator in episode 12 wasn't called Leatherhead but, "Croc-man." It'd be ridiculous and there would be fandom outcry.

If Spike does become Slash, what is so odd about him changing his name? As said, Spike would likely become brainwashed to be evil anyway since I can't see him attacking the Turtles if he remembers how nice Raph was to him.

Its like when Robin became Nightwing, everyone accepted his name change and it was fine.

To his fellow superheroes and to criminals, he was Nightwing. However everyone was aware that he was the, "first" Robin, even all the criminals knew that.

He could have kept the Robin name even with the change in costume

Awesome. Definitely going to go to FCBD next year, and I can't imagine skipping the comic tie-in series. Should be interesting to see how the art turns out. If what I'm assuming will be the cover of this first issue is anything to go off-of, it should be pretty good.

But the thing is that Spike isn't an alias. He's a pet. That IS his name. Why would he change it because he's now 'evil'?
