These are all awesome

I happened to get all but 1 Of the new Lego TMNT legos (I have been waiting for these since i was like 2) The mini Figures are great amazing quality far beyond that of mega bloks.

The set are very nice lots of play ability for younger kids or adults like me that like to play with them. The look very nice and parts are awesome. the van is a lot of fun the largest set and has a lot of value and fits all the turtles and splinter (not all included sorry). Each turtle has two different iterations (different heads as far as i can tell, being open and closed mouth), varying in different sets. I collected the mega bloks set and I recent found there turtle figures and comparing the two while megs bloks might have more "detail" (not to say that lego doesn't have detail). But the plastic is terrible compared to lego, But that's to be expected.

I would suggest this to anyone who like legos or tmnt i cant wait to see where the Tmnt lego line goes in terms of sets. Only problem i have is every where near me is sold out and i need that last set.

Also Im trying to build a custom lego TMNT layer for the turtle based on the new show if anyone had ideas and reference photo PM me please

Smaller sets are far more expensive per brick than the larger ones. Sets with unique pieces are also more expensive, and the Kraang minifigure is as unique as it gets. The Kraang set isn't a great standard to go by.

I just picked up the turtle lair and it's worth every dime.

Yeah the Lair set is my favorite by far. Followed by the Shellraiser. I just need to get the Kraang set to complete them.

I built Kraang Lab Escape, Shredder's Dragon Bike, & Stealth Shell in Pursuit tonight. All of them rock, especially the minifigures. I'm very happy I decided to get these. Gonna try to get the larger sets built soon.

Not sure if its been posted but if you spend $25 on ninja turtles legos at the Toys R Us website you get a free TMNT Lego Poster. Got mine in today. Little disapointed its folding 6 different ways but looks sweet

Has the lego pizza-rama been discussed much on the forums?

I see there is one on ebay right now for $1250.. gulp...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/380520524712...84.m1438.l2649

Has anyone seen any more of these on ebay in the past? I've only just realised they existed. The seller claims that his is the first one to appear on ebay. They seem pretty damn rare, but I'd love to have one lol

Just bought myself the two NYCC mini figures from this guy. $500 for two lego figures... hopefully its a safe investment, and these will retain their value within the tmnt and lego community.

An idiot and their money are soon parted.
I hope nobody reading this buys that pizza box.
You can get all the pieces on bricklink for pennies each and can recreate the box in photoshop and print it on high-quality board to fold. sheesh.

minifigures are different because they are harder to recreate. I still don't think they are worth anywhere near $250 each but that's for you to decide.

Apparently there are only 300 Kraangs, and 300-500 Shadow Leonardo figures (depending on what you read). So the value of rare figures for me, is the knowledge that not many people have them, regardless of what the figure looks like. I'd much rather have $500 worth of something that not many people have, as opposed to $500 worth of something that any old joe can get hold of, regardless of the plastic to cash ratio hehe.

The pizza-rama though, I agree that $1250 is alot if you think about what you're getting for your money, but again - you're not paying for the plastic, you're paying for rarity of the plastic... (and the instruction manual lol) If I had the spare cash, I'd be idiotic enough to buy it haha

Nice pic btw zulithe!

I, too, picked up the Krang and Leo exclusives. Happy to have them. I am surprised the seller is not accepting best offers on the pizza box. I am interested, but not at that price.

I want those NYCC exclusive minifigs but I'm still unwilling to pay a fortune for em! Just not worth it IMO

They are listed here under promotional items.

Kraang figs were given out to the first 300 people that turned up to the lego store at the rockerfeller centre dressed as a turtle.

Dark Leo was given out at comic con in a raffle. I think they were limited to 500.

I'm kinda with the camp of people saying the prices these things are realizing are insane. I mean, you know I don't shy away from dropping coin on the turtles...but I mean... for the price of two mini figures limited to 500...you could have had 1 of the TEN copies of The Ultimate Collection Blue labels with some seriously amazing art by Kevin.

There just seems to be a tremendous disconnect right now on the price of these things. But I think you'll see them calm down eventually... just like the toy fair figures did.
