*Ch'rell only existed so 4kids could cover their asses after showing a man get decapitated on a Saturday morning cartoon. Saying otherwise is like saying seven of nine was added to the cast of voyager for a reason other than adding sex appeal to the show to increase ratings.

It was an amazing issue. Now IDW has used all of the major elements and characters from OT toon (Technodrome, Krang robot body Nutrinos rock soliders). That shows how much popular the OT was.

Nah. Ch'rell was planned from early on. The fact that they could use that to justify showing Shredder's decapitation with little to no fuss is a bonus.

This was single handedly the best issue of TMNT IDW has created so far.

The art is AMAZING!
Story while a little heavy with all the names was almost as amazing as Santaluco's art.
Good lord...this book is gorgeous.

I will go back and read it again so I can take notes and draw out the family trees...

awesome issue. Mateus killed it, he's just so good, argh! i want him to draw every single TMNT issue from now on. T_T his sense of character and dynamism blows me away.

There are still a few TMNT artist I personally like better such as Ryan Brown, Kevin Eastman,Schiti Valerio, and this guy named Ross Campbell, you might know him.

Though, yeah he is a TMNT elite!
