Ah I saw the thread for the covers and I know someone besides me bought the Dimension X variant cover... I got mine in yesterday and read it right after dinner!

It's strange that anyone would receive an alternate cover before the regular cover even ships. But I suppose people who collect all the covers should see that as a nice little reward for paying so much to get every cover for each issue.

Well, I didn't want to talk content in the thread just about the covers... Not that the cover to the variant isn't bad... I was kind of figuring someone else here would have bought one too...

to be uh, fair... i did ask and Dimension X was sent their copies and no instructions not to ship and/or sell them and so they went on sale last Wednesday.... Why would I wait for the regular one to come out if I can read the variant I wanted (because the cover is really cool)?

stuff happens, most of the time it works against you but sometimes, sometimes it just works out for good... i was getting the book one way or the other...

I know its a variant but I thought variants or regular were all out the same day! When Tom said the shiping company they deal with pushed it back it seemed like all of that issue. Spoil us on this then,is it basically the turtles learning Chet's true nature and who Krang is? Thanks.

i asked dimension x about this... but they got the books in so they shipped them... (did i post that already?)

Please don't get me wrong I'm not even slightly mad, I was just saying I found it strange that incentive covers would be realised before regular that's all.

That's why I said you guys who have received your issue 18 already should see that as a nice little reward for collecting all the covers. Hardcore collectors of all covers deserve a little extra every now and then
