Did anyone notice the Pulverizer styled himself after the turtles from the original TV series (initial on belt, colored knee pads/elbow pads) and not the current turtles? Where would you think he got that idea from?

Whereas my 58 year old father sat and watched it with me... He even commented on what was going on... The whole thing felt very Raph and Leo watching Space Heroes... But whatever different strokes for different folks

I would have totally voted for the Robocarp line if it were offered in this thread's poll.

I enjoy it more when I focus my eyes on other things on screen instead of him. I hope he never returns but if he does, he needs to be more than a retarded doofus.

Now that's out with the bad. On to the good..
- The Shellraiser. Finally it's making an appearance! I love how the turtles are enjoying their first ride.
- Fishface fighting scene. Pure badass.
- Splinter and his funny quips ("But he is..a doofus). I love that he's not a pure saintly character. He has flaws (impatience, temper) yet overall still guided by good morale code.
- Donnie training his pupil. Like I said, I despise the Pulverizer, so I admire Donnie's patience and determination to train even someone like THAT.

So overall, still a good episode.
PERFECT sum-up. Nice job!

Shredder knows all of their names because Mikey gave Bradford a ton of info on them.

As for Fong, they've known his name for as far back "Mousers Attack" so I don't know what all the stink is about it now. Maybe April overheard it when they kidnapped her in "Panic in the Sewers".

Or the turtles just told her, they hang out, they talk, don't they?

I liked the episode really much I have to say!I dont understand why most of you complain about the pulverizer, he is MEANT to be annoying for shells sake!
that embiggens donatellos task of dealing with the consequences of taking him on as a student only more...
I love the idea that ths character may more or less be a nod to the always nagging and all knowing 'super fans' lurking around places like this very own technodrome forums and detailing the every pixel of the show into epic proportions....
if I consider the possibillity that this is the characters purpose I like even more Im afraid,)hahhahaha...sure he is annoying...its interesting to see how the guys deal with this challenge brought unnecessarily into their lives.

loved the humour in this one...mike calling out donatello at first for 'who would steal kraang tech' was hillarious as well as the gum jokes and the t com bit about raph having eaten his last pizza and lied about it
plus the intro of the shellraiser, how they sat in the seats for the first time and had a look at everything felt epic to me.the map of new york was a nice touch inside the vehicle.fishface is back strong and I cant wait til he gets to mess with dog pound!
a great episode if someone who#s doing the show reading so far:congrats!

Personally I think it was a jab as all those honourary kid team members ALL super hero teams had back in the eighties.

Zach from TMNT and then teams like Justice league, Biker mice from mars, Power rangers, the whole bundle. There would ALWAYS be some kind of a kid, whom is a big fan of the team, and gets to hang out with the team, and the team always adores him by default, and the kid is always oh so special for.. some reason.
Oh yeah, Wesley Crusher from Star Trek easily falls into this category as well.

Now the idea behind that kid on all those shows is rather simple. The kid audience can channel through that kid, and wish that they were the kid.. which is quite frankly the recipe for Mary sue.. or gary sue or what-ever.

So this show decided to make fun of that! saying. "Well, if there were a nut-job fan like that... this is how it would go down!"
So they make him a fat, geeky, doofus, young adult, whom is really embarrising himself and annoys our heroes.. hehe, welcome to reality I guess. I thought it was funny.

...another show that took a way more serious twist of this same kid character were "justice league tas." where the justice league ended up in another dimension, meeting another super-hero team, where a kid constantly hung around them and got to go on adventures with them. By the end of the episode they found out the kid was the actual bad guy, a horrible mutant whom used mind powers to trap every-one inside of his ideal fantasi world..

That's.. two very different twists on the same character. One like this TMNT one is humourus the other.. was quite disturbing. But a really good episode, I recommend checking it out.

Also as a con goer and cosplayer myself I can appreciate the humour, I swear the last big con I was to last May, was filled with what I call. "Hulk-sillas."
Big fat men whom had body painted themselves green, wore purple shorts and called that a cosplay.. and no I did not ask to see that up close. But it just proofs it. These people exists.. and they are nuts!

Did anyone notice that in the Pulverizer's flashback when he first saw the turtles fighting the Stockman Pod, they show us a back shot of him looking at them from his window... in his costume!

I thought it weird that when he first sees the turtles he is already cosplaying them...

EDIT:

Candy Kappa beat me to it ;P

They didn't want to make a new character model for a second.

I thought it was kinda implied that he saw them that one time months ago and it was love at first sight. I could be wrong though.

It was alright. I actually don't mind the Pulverizer, yeah he's the annoying fan of the turtles but to me he's at least more interesting than Cody or Zack from the previous two cartoon, and I guess I just don't hate him. Fishface looks great in action but a bit disappointed by what he did in the actual episode, hopefully later he'll do more interesting things, but I like him. I'll still miss Xever. What I didn't like about the episode is that it basically was another generic plot of the foot and krang, and I'm tired of those, I want bigger stakes than what they've dealt with.
