I personally loved this episode. Now Don has two people to watch out for (Tim and April), though now Tim is just organs in a container. Everything is Don's fault in this show. Well, almost everything. There is Metalhead, which the Kraang can control, Spy Roach, a new enemy, Tim with just his organs, losing the power cell means losing Leatherhead, and more stuff.

Now back to the episode, I thought Tim was a fool for wanting to be, in his words, mutanted. But his heart was in the right place. His mutation was a bit disturbing. Liked how he joined the Foot though. I loved Donnie's character development and the fight scenes.

All in all, one of the best episodes.

I did the same thing, actually. Could have taken a broomstick to the brain.

Just saw it.

Lots of fun. Probably my second favorite episode of the new series after "The Gauntlet."

This Mutagen Man is a great example of putting a new spin on old ideas in a way that makes sense and feels fresh, rather than paying homage for the sake of paying homage (take note, IDW, much as I enjoy your stuff). I hope to see him out and about in future episodes.

I'm also surprisingly excited to see the start of a Shredder-Kraang team-up, given how long they've been antagonistic in both the Nick and IDW series. We haven't seen them work together in almost ten years, and you know what? I'm ready for it. Shredder being tenuous villain buddies with a smarmy alien (or group of them) still has a lot of leg room, and I was starting to wonder if that aspect of the Turtles mythos was never going to resurface.

My favorite episode. But so dark. I felt so bad for Timothy! Booyakasha.

I'm glad I DVR'd the episode. It's great. There's more emphasis on continuity and I was on the edge of my seat by the second commercial break. I don't think it was as strong as "Karai's Vendetta" and The Pulverizer doing his dramatic announcer voice a before getting mutated...ugh. Also, man I felt bad for The Pulverizer saying that the mutagen burnt. Just...it made me shudder. I'm not to fond of Mutagen Man's new design...if The Pulverizer is supposed to be Mutagen Man but I think it'll eventually grow on me...hopefully.

Oh well, excellent episode, as always. Pulverizer always did get a good chuckle or two out of me.
Maybe couse the costume. The olny zone that he could be touched to become another mutant was the face.
Honestly I STILL see him becoming the Newtralizer in the future

We saw them work together in Turtles Forever four years ago. Though I'm not sure why Shredder would want to work with the Kraang, seeing how they want to kill all life on earth.

I think that this is the most unsettling turtles has gotten, ever.
Sure most of us hated Timothy, but this is too much.
He wanted to be like the turtlles, but all he was doing was looking through
a window, now more than ever. Surprising how disturbing this show can be.

Wasn't particularly fond of this episode, but I liked some of the humor. Splinter was a bit harsh sending his sons into perilous situations without their weapons.

Some of you guys here have me thinking that the mutation of someone that has had contact with a mutant might play a part in the finale or resolution of this conflict somehow.

It's probably along the same lines that he worked with Krang in the OT...or at least the reason he kept talking about behind Krangs back. Just to meet his own want to destroy the TMNT. That was a goal Krang had to. Nick Shredder is so focused on destroying the turtles and getting to Yoshi, so I think he is willing to grasp on to any advantage he can. OT Shredder would say off to the side sometimes that he would be rid of Krang after he destroyed the turtles. I think it's the same for Nick Shredder.

I'm still debating what episode has more nightmare fuel : this, or " insane in the membrane".

I'm actually disappointed the Turtles didn't learn to use each others weapons like in the Nick comic and the 4kids episode. They just kinda brushed that off and went with the "anything can be a weapon" thing.

I actually wonder if this was done so the Nick comic can stay in continuity with the show because they learned to use each others weapons there.

As for Mutagen Man, I guess "Seymour Guts" won't be used, but since he's such a minor character it doesn't really matter.

Whoa what an emotional episode. I love how well developed these characters are. The turtles all feel responsible for someone: Leo for his brothers, Raph for Mikey, Mikey for other mutants, and as it seems, Donnie for humans. Donnie has always been a little high-strung so I wonder how poor Timothy's demise will effect him.

Also, the episodes were aired out of order. Maybe that's why April didn't appear?

The Pulverizer.. just the name boils my blood.

I consider myself a calm man, but everytime he's on screen I just want to beat that idiot to a pulp. Now he's a useless slimy blob, hope he stays that way for a looong time.

I just wish Donnie don't make promises easily off the hook wanting to change him back. You don't have to promise anything, Don..

Oh, hey. The turtles changed weapons, very cool. And I love how the Splinter is very strict and authoritative, shouting and punishing the turtles by taking their weapons. Don't see that with other Splinter reincarnations. That's why I love him the best, very realistic like a real sensei.

I dont think they are out of order but some can be a sort of filler. They can be place any where in the time line of the show. Like this one can be place any where after they have meant Tim but see as we did not see April I''m takeing it before she move in.

At lest that how I see it.

Hi and welcome! You raise a good point about each turtles feeling responsible for a different aspect in their lives. And I love how high-strung Donnie is!!
