Interesting news about Goldberg. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

I always wanted to play Tiffany in turtles because I am a Tiffany
But I would of course like turtles and not squeal all the time

My first thought was wow... is this going to get ridiculous??? That cloud is kinda over the whole movie for me at this point because I am just not sure where they are going with this.

She is a well known name and I always like her cameos with the Muppets so I am okay with this.

Im kind of shocked that everyone is excited for Whoopi playing Bernadette Thompson (and getting rid of Burni in a way). I don't know if I agree with this choice. I agree that there's probably gonna be more of a comedic experience with Channel 6. Like someone said before, I'm "cautiously optimistic".

Woopi Goldberg as Bern Thompson.... Well why not. She pulled off playing God in A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie and Santa Claus in Call Me Claus.

i like the idea of whoopi yelling at megan fox but that would mean she [whoopi] would be playing a villian sort of.. i dont know about that..still though i doubt shes gonna get crazy screen time so its probably not so bad..

Well technically it's a different character. She could be Burne's wife or something.

Yes. I think she'll fit right in and do just fine. Jumpin' Jack Flash in full effect. And it's no sister act.
I honestly hope she doesn't have more than 10 minutes of screen time. Although, that's probably asking for a lot judging by what I see so far.

Hopefully the Channel 6 crew will only have at most 20% of the movie's time, otherwise if it's more than that then the movie might as well be called "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles... and the Channel 6 News Crew". The channel 6 news crew are secondary characters and should obviously stay that way, otherwise it changes the direction of the movie.

I think the bigger names of Whoopi Goldberg and Will Arnett are a bit too distracting and may be causing us to worry a bit too much. We still have yet to know who is playing all of the villains in this movie, as Agent 86 brought up before, and still clueless of what exactly is occurring in this new movie script.

Since Burne was against the Turtles and disliked them, i'm wondering if Whoopi (Bernadette) will be the character in the movie you grow to dislike. And isn't Vernon gonna already dislike the turtles? Two jerks I suppose?

What is next? Emilio Estevez as Foot Elite?
To be honest, I don't like the cast or what of it is leaked till now.

Forget The Dark Knight, Iron Man, Avengers, Battlefield LA, Wrath of the Titans, Transformers, Dictrict 9 and so on. I think we've finally hit on what the movie will really be like; The Muppets. THE MUPPETS.

I've never really thought that TMNT should be compared with the Muppets even when it was being done by Jim Henson but I guess that's where we're at now.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Jim Carrey is in the movie.

I think filling up the not-mutant cast with stars is a great thing. It'll bring some people in, and the movie avoids looking a like lame effort.

Whoopi? Seriously?

Actually, I'm not surprised. She'll probably have the stupid one liner like Bernie Mac had in Transformers to provide some humor for people who were dragged to see the movie.

The movie is going to be terrible. Those who can't see the abomination are blinded by fandom.

I hope like all hell it's good, but I give that a 3% shot.

Didn't the cgi movie attempt this? Patrick Stewart, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Chris Evans, Laurence Fishburne etc. Not only is that a fairly well known cast but pretty respectable names too. Yet it didn't seem to have any impact on getting people in or how the judged it.

It might have helped, if they had used their names in a promotion or two. I'm not saying it would make the movie better, but surely putting famous people in a movie would bring in some of those famous people's fans - IF they actually tell people about it.

In this movie's case, the actors will be in trailers and commercials. The average person wouldn't know who the voice actors in TMNT 2007 were, until hey saw the movie.

Its bizarro Channel Six. It may as well be Channel 9 News! Irma is hot and April is not. Burne Thompson is not a white man but a black woman! Vernon will actually be the star reporter and get the scoop over April!

The 2007 TMNT movie was such a joke. It probably only pulled in Turtles fans, but no else seemed to notice or care. After 14 years from the original movies, that's the best they could come up with? A couple of monsters come to the city and need to be captured? They weren't even in the movie that much. They only decent thing was the Leo-Raph story. It didn't have any impact at all. It was such a forgettable movie. I remember I was trying to convince myself that it was a good Turtles movie when I got out of the theater. It was so cheesy. It took itself too seriously. Fingers crossed for this new movie.
