Can't find the reissues on BBTS, but I have found them on TRU's site. The figures are going for pretty much what I was expecting them to, but the van costs a bit more than I was expecting/hoping. Weren't these set to be released next year? A bit early to be seeing pre-orders. I'm guessing these will be TRU exclusives like the 6" Classic Collection figures have been (nobody I know has seen them outside of TRU/comic book shops).

Edit: Just got done talking to TRU's online support (a window thing for it actually popped up randomly). The guy was actually helpfull, and told me that the reissues are set to be released 8/27/13, aka August 27th. Much earlier than I was expecting, but that may not be a bad thing.

yet several people have shown pictures of them in wal-mart and target as well. so they aren't toys r us exclusives.

The vintage Slash is shorter than the vintage Turtles, but it doesn't appear to have scarred anyone for life. If anything, his reuse as Tokka makes me wish vintage Tokka were bigger.

The article threw out both 'six feet' and 'equal in size and stature to the Turtles.' If he's roughly as tall as Raphael but a little thicker, I'll be happy.

Not every mutant has to be oversized, as it'll eventually make the Turtles look like mutagen runts by comparison.

Yes, but the turtles are teens and all the other mutants so far have been adults so its reasonable that they all be oversized to the turtles.

If Slash is made roughly in scale with his on screen appearance then I'll be happy. If he is the same height as the turtles in the show then fine. My favorite characters have always been Leatherhead and Slash (toy wise) so I was really disappointed when Leatherhead was released and tiny.

Me not getting onto this site for quite a while couldn't have helped, but I still haven't seen any of these alleged pictures of them in Walmarts and Targets. Not saying people are lying, just haven't seen the proof for myself.

yeah they popped up in a cube display at walmarts and on the shelf at target. i am not going to go back through the 100+ pages to find the pics. But they have been posted.

You are talking about wave 5 right? stealth, cockroach, rat king? Yeah I don't think there are any pics of them from wal-mart or target. I also have not seen or even heard evidence of this unless I overlooked it.

Seriously doubt they are TRU exclusive but it's just taking a while for them to make it into all distribution channels

If you're referring to the recent figures Zulithe mentioned, no...

But if you're talking about any of the others, like the Classics, they're still lining the shelves of my Walmart. I did post a photo of the TMNT Cube. I still have 'em I think.... yep!

The photos were taken in March but the Cube has returned a few times since then. The shelves still look the same to this day and the Classics are still available.

I'm in Canada though and the Baxter, Leatherhead, Snakeweed wave has yet to even arrive. I restorted to alternative methods to acquire them since then.

I personally blame the fact that the Flingers and Ooze just aren't big sellers... it doesn't help that Walmart has never put them on sale, as far as I know. Sure, they got rid of the Party Wagons for $15/each but there's so many of the Flinger/Oooze garbage it's UNREAL. Maybe if they only kept a few out at a time, that'd create interest and move 'em... but no, let's jam 300 on a shelf.
