Really enjoyed this episode certainly more than last week's somewhat disappointing Parasitica and miracle of miracles this Raph is actually starting to grow on me

this episode is ranked right under the gauntlet as my top episodes. But i feel that the finale will just blow these two away

I really really enjoyed this episode. Kudos to the writer for fitting in 3 ongoing situations in one episode with perfect pacing, as well as laugh out loud humor. Great stuff. Interesting to see Aprils gift at work finally.

I agree with powder here..plus, I really loved the trickery way to get into this detention center with the false car parking house..mike rolling the car on top of the newtralizer?hahaha oh my god!he saved ALL his brother now for the third time in two episodes in a row,he is just a baaaad motherf--shut yo mouth!but Im talking about michelangelo!?!..and we can dig it!
loved the turtles and don running across the roof tops in daylight and the great spooky lighting in these vaults!

I hope this doesn't lead to some strange and dissapointing revelation about April. I wouldn't like her to be a robot or to become over-powered.

The theory I prefer is that Kirby did experiments on her and could hide in her genes/blood something about his research.

Kirby is a psychologist so the whole "experimented on her theory" wouldn't work, unless there is something to that Rorschach test.

I like to think that we ALL have the keys to the universe inside ourselves..hidden deep in our conscience and april may just be of a newer breed of humans who are more likely to tap into that knowledge and these interdimensional beings (the kraang) are aware of that and want to examine her at all costs...maybe to see how far us humans down here on earth have come so far?

really enjoyed this episode by far the best one since the gauntlet (i know this has been said many times by you guys lol but still) the chemistry with kirby and don was really good and i liked how don told kirby not to tell mikey about the whole naming-the villian thing which is funny and mikey in this episode was really funny with the whole car smashing and the whole cowboy detective was clever,the whole episode was funny and serious all around the same time mysterious cause they seem to leave off kirby frowning when he hugged april which means kirby is mind controlled but hey who knows they might reveal it in the 1 hour movie. but anyways i give this episode a 9/10

The Gauntlet and this one are not the only ones that were good. I wish that some episode focused on Raph and Mikey could make the plot progress as well.

But it's because Leo is the leader, and Donnie has a stronger relationship with April and Kirby who are in the center of the plot.

I actually liked Parasitica a lot more than this episode. Not a bad ep, but I wouldn't rank it particularly high or anything. Still, it solidly brought the plot forward which is really nice, and the Newtralizer was a lot cooler than I thought he'd be, even without talking, so that's a pretty huge surprise for me. All in all, this whole episode was worth it just to hear Raph call Don adorable

Yeah I preferred Parasitica as well.

But I do think that maybe if these two episodes had maybe 5-10 more minutes, so much could've been done.

For a lot of episodes, 20 minutes is ample time, and I have no doubt that unless it's a start/finisher to the season, 40 minutes+ is way too long to maintain a child's interest. But there needs to be a bit of leniancy as well for mid season eps because sometimes the animators/writers are getting cut off? They're not being able to explore stuff as thoroughly as I think they and the audience would like because of constraints on running time.

But they do extremely well with what they have.

I mean I'm gonna use sadorable to death.

And "What would Donnie do?" as Mikey glances at the droid, snaps his fingers "Got it!" and then they use it as a battering ram. Literal tears were shed.
