In my opinion, I am not looking forward to Casey Jones ... at all. I'm REALLY worried that Casey will somehow cause more "problems" within the series.

well..it wasn't getting any better.

at least when Casey comes we can have a jealous Don for about maybe 5 episodes then we won't have the love triangle anymore...that's something to maybe look forward to?

i like the idea of the triangle if for no other reason than to give donnie a catalyst to assert himself more and become more confident. i like the idea that these are the "youngest" the turtles have ever behaved (or at least the most "real-life"-like), and this could be a really good character arc for him.

as for casey, i think this is great! the angle they seem to be going with seems perfect for the tone of the show and as a stand-alone design, i think it's really the coolest it's ever been. i mean, honestly, the 1990 and 2k7 flicks aside, casey's never really had a lot of interesting details to his costumes. this is a good look, imo!

Donnie's already more assertive in my opinion.

No, you got it all wrong.

I'm worried that Casey Jones might mess up the dynamic of the team when he shows up. Not only will Donnie be distracted by him, but Raph might be really distracted as well. While Casey and Raph might form a good bond, I think Raph's character development might be hindered. I don't want Raph to be too reliant on Casey.

I don't see that happening. If anything, Casey's appearing might improve Raph's character development cause of the dynamic they'll have. Give Casey a chance, I trust that the writers for this show know what they're doing.

Welcome to the boards! I think after seeing Mutagen Man going after April it will make Casey want to become a hero. I know Ciro said a while back Mutagen Man is key to Casey's origin.
