Yes, that was in the first episode's theme song. Not really an Easter Egg.

It's basically something that's been confirmed already. We know Casey's going to be in the show, so it's natural that he's going to be in the intro even if he is in shadow there. An Easter Egg would be what Shark Blade posted about Greg Cipes's last name being on the surfboard. Something that's there but not in plain view for everyone to spot.

Every definition I have ever read or heard says otherwise. I guess it's just a loose term that we all have different ideas about because I have always been told they are hidden and therefore take some looking to discover. That is why the are called easter eggs. Because you hide easter eggs.

An Easter egg is something that not everyone is supposed to see. It all depends on if Casey was hidden. I haven't noticed him for the 2 episodes of season 2 that I've seen, so I'll call it an Easter egg.

Casey in the intro isn't an Easter Egg because for one he's not hidden, he's extremely obvious. Also, like Bubbly said, he's a confirmed character for Season 2 - just like Mutagen Man, Metalhead and the line of villains who were also added to the intro.

Good examples in this last episode were all of the references to Alien/Aliens, old horror flicks and comics, Cipes on the surfboard and the Muckman poster.

Easter eggs are references or hidden images usually paying homage to someone or something. A good example of an easter egg is the hidden "Cipes" on the surfboard, referencing Greg Cipes and his love for surfboarding. A bad example of an easter egg is pointing out a thing like casey in the intro. Another example would be if casey was spraypainted on a wall in the backround, and not in plain sight.

Hope this helped with solving the great easter egg debate.

That's more of a reference than an Easter Egg. If there'd been a Ninja Rap CD in the background or something like that, then it'd be an Easter Egg.

Mutagen man episode: Mutagen Mans voice box says Laird on it. And the video tapes Mikey finds one of the tapes is called Faces of Doom is that in reference to the old Faces of Deaths videos?

In todays Mutagen Man episode Casey is knocked into a pile of garbage, which is where he finds and makes use of a golf club, just like the fight scene with Tatsu in the first film. More a nod than an Easter egg, but a great thing to catch nonetheless.
