You're forgetting the original toon Rahzar, who was intelligent and could speak.

But yeah, he's not similar to either of the past ones outside of being a wolf. Probably the lack of Tokka makes him feel different too.

Plus, I just got my Dogpound figure 2 weeks ago, and since I prefer to display my toys in a 'diorama' style rather than on a shelf, this means my Dogpound has to go into storage (it would make no sense to have TWO of the same character in my display)
I have a dogpound from tj Maxx in my toy drive stash too but I figure I'm going to have my personal DP be from an AU in my display once I get Rahzar

Exactly, when I think Rahzar I think big, strong and swinging the turtles around. Not being lean, mean and packed with ninja speed. Hell, the original Rahzar was a lumbering lummox like Dogpound was.

Wow what a surprising, hilarious, action packed, gross, brilliant episode.

Love Rahzar design.
Looks like they gonna keep teasing us on Baxter's upcoming mutation.
Mikey going Solo.

I like the way it coming Rahzar with the already Dogpound mutate. As well, i like Baxter's return in this show. I hope to see Tokkar too, although not make sence Fishface to be Tokkar, but possibly the show brings us a surprise. In this episode when i see the mutage collar, i though Baxter could be turned into a fly, but not, instead the show bring Razhar. This was GREAT.

This show showed us a lot of surprise. Before the episode "I, Monster", i though Doctor Falco was a filler villain until he turned into the Rat King. The same to Pulveriser (who is a supporting character) who turned into Mutageman, and now Braford/Dogpound turned now to the clasic Razhar and the new concept of the double mutation.

This episode shows us Baxter has his own plan to made a mutant army using Kraang's lab remains. Unfortunately was caught by Dogpoind, before can do the next step. (In IDW, he successfully made mutants).

I liked the episode, Mikey was actually worried about something and understood how bad it was.

I didn't care much for the second mutation of Dogpound, he is way to thin and boney. In fact in many places he looks like very thin bones are holding him together with no muscle or even room for vanes to pump blood to his limbs.

I thought this was just a filler episode. I was wrong! Love this episode.

The animation is so smooth and movie like. Karai moves so gracefully even when she's sitting and talking, it's fascinating. That Rahzar, oh my gosh. I never expected that!

It was thrilling too! All the time I was worried Mikey might popped his zits when he got bumped or hit by enemies. I felt sorry for him too, and his character have depth which I like.

And the grossness! Keep it coming!! Pukes in Squirrelanoid, zits in Shellacne, hell yeah! This is Nickelodeon, they know kids like these stuff. That's why they have that green ooze for Nick kids award and Figure-It-Out show.

Awesome!

Wow! Loved the surprise Rahzar, but other than that I didn't care for this episode at all. I'm sure it's important for the development of future episodes with the whole "secondary mutation" thing, but I don't like the way they went about it. The shell acne thing was gross and I don't like Mikey-centric episodes at all. He's such an annoying character. This might be the only episode I wouldn't want to watch more than once. Just my opinion!

Just saw it, it was very good. I didn't expect Dogpound to mutate, or that this ep would be good.

cool episode. I was hoping dogpound would become human again but rahzar is a pleasant surprise. I wonder if he will remain loyal to Shredder? I also thought it would be baxter that mutated, so good one nick writers! oh yeah and dogpound's pec muscle flex was funny as hell too.

I really tried to like this episode, but I just can't. Something really felt off for me in this one, especially the interactions between the turtles. The issue with Mikey not being taken seriously was forced on the viewer again and not even in a subtle way.

I also didn't like how Donatello was portrayed here, his mannerisms seemed different in some way and he didn't really seem to take Mikey's condition that seriously. First joking about it, and what was up with that flow chart?

Positive points were Mikey's portrayal (I felt really sorry for him in this episode) and I especially loved his role in the second half of the episode, with Mikey going out on his own. I thought he was portrayed very well and in a likeable way. I was rooting for him during his confrontation with Dogpound/Rahzar. I really enjoyed seeing him in action.

Dogpound (I like the second mutation and I'm glad he can fight in his old style again), Baxter Stockman and Karai were all good points about this episode.

It seems Karai is ignoring Leo's words/warning during their last confrontation and is gearing up for another attack.

Except for some nice moments, this episode is one of my least favorites. Mikey, Dogpound and Karai at least gave this episode some positive notes for me personally.

I loved this episode! Expected filler, got awesomeness. Didn't expect Dogpound into Rahzar. Also, this was a visually stunning ep, Baxter's lair looked sweet with the red light coming through the windows and the giant mutagen tank. Every week brings a better episode! Maybe when Shredhead comes back we'll beat The Gauntlet!

Yeah. I had no idea Bradford would be the one. I thought Baxter would turn into the fly and Bradford would have the fleeting chance to become human. These guys are smart and continuously surprise me.

Exactly! I couldn't figure out why he was being so mean. Very unlike him. That chart was a weak gag. Usually his chart gags are spot on.

Although I did like this episode, I do agree with your point about Donnie's attitude, and I feel like that's a good example that explains why I personally have issues a majority of the time with the way the turtles interact with one another. I've seen their callousness toward each other as often brushed off as 'oh, they're brothers, that's just how they act', and trust me, I have siblings of my own, I KNOW how that sort of banter goes. But even so, sometimes it feels like the compassion the turtles might have for one another is sacrificed for the sake of a cheap joke. Overall I'm still not feeling a genuine brotherly vibe that tells me the turtles do all care for each other equally and that doesn't really sit well with me.
