They are looking for a "molecular centrifuge." I believe the one Donnie has is just a normal one.

That little heart breaking squeak in his voice at the end of his speech was what did it for me. Just perfect.

True, but the one they picked up looks like a normal one

Also, for some reason Donnie reminded me of this guy at the beginning of the episode, and now I can't unsee it!

You know... Leo cooked Ramen for them in the cockroach terminator episode. I don't understand how he's such a klutz when making breakfast in this one.

Maybe in the presence of the other brothers he lost it. ._."

well...Leo actually was doing right, at begining he only "stoped" the toasts...and after that.......he was near to put eggs rightly too ..and then the disaster come when Don blind for juice was running around...

With Ramen noodles, its just boil noodles. But wasn't Leo cooking eggs? It takes a little more skill to make different varieties of eggs (sunny-side up eggs, sunny-side down eggs, soft-boiled, omelets, etc.) and using a spatula well. When cooking eggs its about timing, and having the dexterity to flip the half-cooked eggs without making it messy.

I assumed Leo was so focused on his other hobbies (i.e. ninjitsu training), that it left him severely inexperienced and inept in cooking.

Let Martha Stewart school you Shark Blade about how complicated cooking eggs can be (watch the two preview videos on the webpage): http://www.pbs.org/food/features/mar...-eggs-episode/
LOL

I like how Rahzar looks in this version. In my honest opinion, he looks like a Demon, almost.

I love how this turned into a cooking channel in a heartbeat. I know how to fry, boil and scramble eggs, but I think I've never done sunny side down though. This should be on my to do list, along with pizza gyoza.

Easily the worst episode since "Parasitica." If this was the best TMNT episode of all time yet it still had the Turtles not getting Baxter Stockman's name right, I'd still say its the worst episode since "Parasitica."
There's beating a dead horse, and then there's BEATING A DEAD HORSE. One bad punchline has turned into a defining feature of Baxter as a character, and has cemented the Turtles as the bumbling idiots that Nick has turned them into.

Okay. Even I have to admit that this punchline has gotten old, but it works. However, I wouldn't say that makes the turtles "bumbling idiots." That's dramatic to say. They do know his name, it's just a joke for kids to laugh.

thats not the ONLY reason why they're bumbling idiots. When they're in battle, they're stealthy and all ninja-y, but they opened this episode with that breakfast disaster scene, and in Squirrelanoids (sp? meh) they were knocking everything in their lair down...they're just clumsy and "dumb." And if they're just calling him the wrong name for laughs, doesn't that just make them assholes? They're essentially bullies if that's the case. So what's worse? Idiots or playground ruffians?

I'm not anti-humor, i LOVE lightheartedness, banter, and joking, but "just a joke for kids to laugh" sums up everything wrong about this series.

I love how the Turtles get Baxter's name wrong as it's funny, and that's the whole point of it. I think they do know his name, but they purposely mess it up to annoy him.

And, JYX, about Bradford, I think the defining moment was when he said, "I feel like a ninja again." He was complaining about how clumsy he was, and now he's better with his new mutation. I do wish we could have gotten a flashback story here like we did with Xever though as it would have been awesome.

Then stop watching it. If you don't enjoy it, don't watch it. And you can't just call them "dumb" for who they are. So, they had a hard time making breakfast. So what? Besides, Baxter's a jerk. He deserves it. And they're teenagers. No matter how good they are, they still react on impulses besides using their brains all the time. In fact, I like seeing Donatello doing this to prove that Geniuses don't always think.

But seriously. Stop watching if you don't enjoy it.

And why is Baxter a jerk? Because people made fun of him. Even though that's a horrible reason for him being "evil" (and seriously, the dude can't figure out how to use a copy machine, but he can build armies of robots and a robotic exoskeleton, AND A RIDICULOUSLY INTRICATE SECRET LAIR?!) the Turtles know this yet they still (according to you) willingly make fun of him only perpetuating his jerkiness.

I won't stop watching it only because every now and then we get episodes like "The Gauntlet" or "Follow the Leader" and basically any B-story with Karai.

Yes I can...because they're not real. A creative team made a decision for them to be BEYOND goofy.

Alright, but that's your opinion. Still, I think that's dramatic. I don't think they've been beyond goofy.

Thanks to everyone who shared their views on Donatello in this episode. (Both sides of the discussion) Although I still don't like some of his scenes, I do understand better now about the pressure Don has to deal with.

===

Seeing the comment about Stockman in the posts above made me wonder a bit. Do the turtles mispronounce Stockman's name on purpose or do they just don't care enough to say it correctly? I think I heard them say his name correctly when Baxter isn't around.

Even Donatello said it wrong in this episode.

===

I love how Greg Cipes is playing his role as Michelangelo. I really like (almost) all the voices in this series but Mikey's voice for me personally has something special to it. It doesn't feel he's acting as Michelangelo. It really feels he IS Michelangelo.
