This. So much this. It was even a damned plot point. Even in the same episode April was confused and asked them 'weren't you guys humans before?'

Not once did they say something like 'dude... we just saw Dogpound turn into Rahzar... how did they cure him?'

At this rate, Wingnut might appear and just be Kirbybat colored blue.

I thought this episode was good.

Donnie just ditching his bros to go save April seemed somewhat out of character. I mean he knows April's in Danger and wants to go save her, but in Karai's vendetta Donnie didn't go hopping into the Turtle Sub and take off by himself to go save her. Though given half a chance, he probably would have done so. But he can't just leave his brothers because they are his family and his team, and in that situation they were there to remind him that the task at hand was more important then April.

But this is the first time April has called them in a while, so obviously if she's calling them despite the fact she has specifically stated that she never wanted to see them again. It obviously had to have been serious.

I would have liked that whole moment better if it had been like this:

Leo: (Looks at Kraang and sighs) You want to go after her?

Donnie: **Nods**

Raph: Then go...She needs you. We'll take care of things here.

As for the whole triangle thing. I don't think Donnie has lost April. I mean yeah he beginning to see there is something about Casey that makes April happy and he doesn't want to take that from her. And while logically April will choose Casey and still keep Donnie in a special place within her heart.

April is clearly aware that both boys like her and she likes them both as well. But to her it's like they are two halves of the same whole so it's hard to chose between them.

And when the two boys do meet face to face...I don't quite see any all out smack downs between them. But I do see a certain level of tension between them and of course sizing each other up over who truly deserves to have April's heart. But other then that they may gain a respect for one another about who they are as people and who they are in April's life.

I do admit a little disappointment in that Leo hasn't yet told his brothers that Karai was Splinter's daughter. Because Donnie was all out ready to kill Karai if it had to come to that in order to defend April.

I can understand why that wouldn't fit in the current episode. Because it's would be like saying "Welcome back, April. Oh by the way, Karai is actually Splinter's supposedly deceased daughter."

Still when Karai was telling April and Donatello that Splinter had taken someone precious from her and she wanted repayment in kind. It would have been appropriate if April recalled Splinter telling her that Miwa would have been her age if she had survived and realized that Karai was Splinter's daughter. Or even have Donnie start to put two and two together, vs him and April glancing at one another as though they have no idea what Karai is talking about.

Needless to say, IGN loved it.

I believe ratings wise it is tied for IGN's 3rd best rated episode behind The Gauntlet (9.2) & Operation: Breakout (9). Other 8.8s were Alien Agenda & TCRI.

at first I was like.....okay Mikey sit down before you hurt yourself

then he made an elephant.......and it was pretty good.

then he made a belly dancer...DANCING!!!

LOL yeah my wife was laughing at that scene. I also think she's taking a liking to Casey. My 4 year old now besides asking about Leatherhead returning is asking when Casey will meet the turtles and put his weapons on lol.

That made me laugh so hard. It become so random at that point and the way that the kraang was describing it with such a deadpan delivery made it even funnier.

Its just a robot for gods sake, its not even an actual character. Chrome Dome is just supposed to look like a robot Shredder, and that's what this was.

I also got a very eerie taste of possible foreshadowing.

In the scene where April left Donnie in the alley at the beginning of the episode, the camera zoomed out and showed Donnie staring at the ground and had complete, pitch black, darkness surrounding him.

Probably wouldn't think anything of it but since we got the Splinter scene with him in M.M.U. and some thinking he is playing the role closer to Shredder in the Casey/April/Donnie = Splinter/Tang Shen/Shredder arc, I can't help but think that these are warning signs of his character to come.

Wrong. A robot Shredder would have been... well... a robot Shredder, as he is in the show. Sure, you and I know it's a nudge-nudge wink-wink to Mirage Shredder, but within the show, Shredder does not look like that, so the robot Shredder thing is invalid.

That is a Chris Bradford robot, plain and simple. A cheap lazy ass excuse for a 'new character'. Might as well have had a silver-plated Don model and call it Metalhead, or Karai with slightly longer hair and say she's Lotus. And have none of the characters notice and act like it's a whole new character.

If they wanted to go that cheap-ass lazy route, fine. The fact that noone reacted and everyone pretended it was a character they have never seen before is inexcuseable. Mikey would have called him 'Chrome Dome' since episode 4.

And dude... YOU calling ME out on nitpicking little things on the show? How is that female Kraang Prime that totally isn't Krang working out for ya?

Ok, that'd actually be awesome, but I really don't think they'll do anything that would make any of the turtles look bad. However, it might just come down to a life or death situation for casey, where don is the only one who can help, and he just chooses not to due to his envy. Maybe they'll even fight it out at some point, but again, I doubt they'll make him do something excessively shady like shredder did.
