At this rate it's going to be "lets cut all necessary figures from the line and add unpainted turtle varaints with no articulation and a stupid gimmick that wont work

Don't forget the "Lets skimp on the paint jobs and quality control, kids don't care about that stuff" that comes right along with it.

Spoiler:
These are the zip line playsets that are currently being spotted at Targets across the US. I saw the "Water Tower Washout" and "Fire Escape Free Fall" sets myself this afternoon.

COOL! Any ideas how much they cost at Target? All of the Targets and Walmarts around here have been wiped out since before Xmas. Absolutely empty shelves!!

If I recall correctly the smaller set was $19.99 and the larger one was $32.99.

TMNT seems to be the sole thing Playmates has left. Just look at their site.

Loving those zip line sets. I can see me setting those up in a spare room between sets of toys.
I have the zip line from the Sewer playset set up, but it zips from the classic Sewer to the new one, which is under the stair well.

right, time to go hunting on line.

Yeah, they massed up the Star Trek line back in 2009. That was suppose to be the big thing they were doing.

Perhaps Playmates are dying.

If they were, I don't think they're doing so now, especially with their tie-in to a very popular TMNT show.

I'm curious to see what comes out after the Casey and Mutagen Man figures. Hopefully the next set turns out fairly decent.

Wish the new wave was in stores already so we can anticipate for the next wave which SHOULD include Newtralizer *fingers crossed*.
For now here's more zipline set pics:

I wonder how they hold on to walls.

I still wish we had more pizza box playsets like that unreleased Shredder lair. I was hoping for a kraang lab down the line...
