I really can't help but wonder if you're not Tealturtle under a new account...

Either way, it is what it is. You've gotta cope. Some of us have seen them, some haven't. Either way, it's impossible to get a photo at an event, and anyone sharing what they may have already would be putting many at risk of being fired/sued.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is due in cinemas this August. I don’t even want to guess when we’ll get our first, public look at the characters (I’ll admit that I’ve seen a crummy publicity pic of them already, I wish I could share it – why all the bandages, Raphael?) but it might be a while just yet.

Mikey not liking this at all.
Sometimes movies do some weird things.
Superman lost his red undies.
Mikey is now earing pants (not that he coudn't).
It all seems wrong.
Batman is all in black now.
changes, changes, changes.
Regardless of how they look in the new movie, I just hope the movie is good ( I know to some that would be seen as hoping against hope or whatever).
I would have thought if anything they would have tied the look to the new series.
The old movies took on a look that was a comparable style to the OT cartoon.
What's with all the panels on Mikey's chest plate.
6 is the right number. He looks like he has the underside of a cockroach (anyone else get that eeewww feeling when you see that chest plate?).

i had to work an 18 hour shift yesterday...so, all of this great news broke and i was stuck at work.

i finally woke up and threw together this photoshop rendering of the new turtles that i was thinking about last night. i used the shot of Raph, since it was the easiest, and i'm lazy:



i lined up the costume more of less with the actor's frame.

in this next render, i lined up the costume with the markings on the motioncapture suit. and that is what disturbs me more than the "dudebro sunglasses"



i lined the eyes up on the costume with the ping pong ball "eye markers" on the motioncapture suit, and i tried to line up the key points of the costume with the markers on the motioncapture suit. at least from what i suspect they will be.

i know! that is what i found the most disturbing. how can any turtle's head line up with those eye-markers? especially when the shell-line (did i just make that up?) is clearly defined in the motion capture suit!!!

even if they're not eye markers and the eye actual markers are the marks on the forehead(as in the first render i threw together) it still doesn't come together well.
