In regards to the picture, Brandon said it was a random mutant that looks like him... Not Leatherhead.

Pretty interesting episode. I wish LH would have been acknowledged, but it shows that he was there. Man, Mikey got punched around a lot during this ep and I loved how he tried to get the burrito out of the vending machine as it reminded me of The Simpsons when Homer tried to do the same with a soda. Don's definitely going to need some therapy after this, but at least we know that he can rebuild Metalhead. Nice to see all the mutants, too, and I like how Don urged Kirby to fly ahead. Loved seeing Slash help Raph, too. Overall, a pretty good episode. Definitely can't wait for ICK next week.

Edit: So, it's not LH? Damn. Ah, well, maybe we'll see him again sometime.

LOL, it's blatantly Leatherhead's model. My guess is it was a mistake and a background artist put him there when they weren't supposed to.

I guess this is a sign though we'll be seeing the Turtles rescue Leatherhead later this season.

Yeah....

To be fair, Chrome Dome was always designed to look like a robot Shredder. And Bradford's armor resembled the Foot Elite so I didn't have a problem with it.

It's obvious the writers have bigger plans for Leatherhead. I'm sure he's a big part of the episode where the Turtles are in Dimension X.

It's not a huge deal that there was a quick image showing an outline of Leatherhead far away.

Maybe you didn't but others sure did. Biggest problem is NO ONE in the entire episode acknowledging the fact that it looked like robo-Brad. Not even Mikey.

Doesn't matter, the Kraang designed Chrome Dome because of Shredder and they probably based it off that armor.

I like that Metalhead doesn't have a voice, I feel like he offered more as a visual, and support character that helped out and add to the scene. Like in many episodes after his debut you would see him in the background helping out Don in lab, or even just chilling out with the turtles watching along as they lived there lives. Making Metalhead talk takes that subtlety away from him. In a setting where lots of characters or so vibrant and vocally expressive Metalhead not talking and responding in movements and gestures added a nice sense mellowness, the quite companion if you will; and to me it made his bigger moments, all the more impactful.

I hope they have big plans for Leatherheads rescue in dimension x but I don't like that they he's saying its another mutant that looks like him. Oh we'll it was great seeing him again for a second.

Aw poor Donnie, seems as if the writers break his heart every 3rd or 4th episode

Leo was really a jerk in this one. But, a much better episode plot wise than the last two.

Anyone else think releasing all those prisoner mutants will come back to bite the turtles in the behind? How did metalhead's head pop up at the end, I thought the portal had closed?
