Pigeon Pete, Kirby Bat and a Squirellenoid also got a few nice shots. Everything else was frenetic and tiny in the background.

Nothing visually different about Metalhead so I didn't grab a screenshot of him.
In regards to more nameless mutants: i don't know? I was really searching for the LH clone after it was discussed here. Didn't notice anything else that seemed out of place/new/repeated.

All the other mutants listed by other posters can be seen very briefly during the escape sequence.

It's definitely the LH model. When he moves you can see his tail and croc head in profile.
If someone else doesn't, I'll upload another shot of him to illustrate this.

actually, i think that is newtralizer,he has a similar body to lh anyway. Donnie said this prison or whatever wasnt in another dimension, where as leather head went to dimension x, so him being there wouldnt make sense. im sure therell be and episode, probably the dimension hopping one, of him being rescued later.

even if its not newt, having an unnamed mutant doesnt bother me. with so many canisters out there, somethings bound to mutate with out the turtles fighting it

Very interesting... I know it for sure looked like Leatherhead's body jumping in the shadows... It'd be great to see a better lit profile shot if you can get one.

Haha I suppose I could be wrong but it sure moved like LH, not Newt.
My money is still on a croc model, but it's so tiny.
Anyone have access to an inside source?

Edit: just watched some clips of Newt for reference. By Jove you may be right.
It'd be more extra effort on their part to strip the Newt model of his gear for this one tiny shot, but the rest of the model fits.

Now THIS episode was more like it. I was surprised so many times and the episode didn't go at all like I expected. I loved seeing so many of the past mutants and really loved the small moment between Raph and Spike/Slash. Metalhead was amazing and hopefully he will come back eventually.

I was hoping that April and Casey would be in the episode too. It is very surprising to see all the mutants working together too. If Spider Bytez went straight to the turtles for help, did he even plan to fight them anymore? And since Metalhead and the turtles helped Snakeweed, etc, I wonder what the villains will do now.

I still had a little bit of hope that Slash would stick around, but hope to see him again soon.

since we've now seen the majority of new mutants we will get this season, i hope this episode releasing the other mutants means we will begin to get more episodes with them

It's probably just another newt mutant that the kraang experimented on. It honestly doesn't look like Newtrailzer or LH by themselves.

Yeah, I found him. The first time I saw it, I thought it was a Parasitica Wasp.

On a side note, the LH model does resemble the Newtralizer. The color of the tail seems accurate, the head is the approximately the same size and his feet seems to resemble the Newtralizer's. Only thing a little off about him is the lack of black spots.

I just asked Brandon wether or not that was Newtralizer... This is what he had to say:

Hmm hard to say; it's not supposed to be. Sometimes the overseas animators will screw up and add stuff they're not supposed to. I think they were just trying to fill up the far background with random mutants lol

Just another mutant the Kraang had in captivity it would seem.

Well sorry that I did not notice the thread open early! But I did watch the episode at 12:10am! I will try to post earlier impressions next time now that I know the thread will be open.

I was so dead tired I went to sleep immediately after.

-As with a lot of the recent episodes, I really feel like the animation quality (the way the turtles move etc.) seems more fluid and realistic in season 2, particularly the episodes after the break. It's subtle, but I do feel like it's true.
-I knew we'd see Spider Bytez back eventually, but not like this. He was like totally helpless the entire episode
-While it was GREAT to see so many former characters returning, almost none of them got lines... which gave the whole sequence a strange feeling to me. But hey... at least now we have some answer to why all these villains aren't just out running the streets. The Kraang have been capturing them!
-LOVED how mikey discovered the door. Great character sequence.
-The algae tank? Somehow I never noticed that before, or considered that they must have a place to grow their food in such a way.
-Will there be a Metalhead 2.0? What will he look like?
