I hope they nail this dumba$$.

I really wish there was a "report seller" button you could press even if you're not the buyer just for these types of people. I once got scammed by a guy who listed a video game as "Like New" and when I got it it was so scratched that it wouldn't work and then he went so far as to tell ebay I was trying to blackmail him with feedback or some stupid crap like that all before I could open the case. Then once I finally got my refund and left poor feedback (deservedly so) my feedback was removed! So I called and told ebay I don't care about my feedback being removed but this guy needed to be dealt with because he consistently had the same issues listed in his poor feedback because he kept shipping broken/damaged items and forcing the buyer to pick up the slack. People like that ruin ebay for buyers...

Sorry to hear that. My bro is currently having a run in with a guy that won't ship his item paid for.

...What?

I'm not in the know about ebay, but I was looking to bag a sewer lair and I found this. Anyone have any idea what's going on here!?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TMNT-Teena...item4ad24374c3

There are no real details and the just a picture of a giant bug!

There are a few possible reasons for that ludicrousy. 1. The seller has arranged with a buyer about selling them a certain item and listed it in a way that anyone else is highly unlikely to buy it- hence the picture. 2. The seller is an idiot and doesn't realize they uploaded the wrong picture. 3. The seller is a scammer and will scam you.... Could be any of these but my money is on #1 since their feedback seems to be solid. Either way, don't buy it.

Pardon my ignorance, but this tends to be a pretty rare item, doesn't it?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Teen...item58ad54bd51

I had one of these as a kid, until my dog chewed it up, haha.

Wow..I know unpunched MOC soft heads with fan club flyers rarely come up on ebay. But these just sold for crazy prices! I've been looking for a Raph and a Mike for a while. I was contemplating going to 175 each thinking no one would go that high. But no way I'm paying nearly 500 for both.

The Donatello, in comparison, had a tiny dent in the bubble and was punched..and went for less than half of the rest:

I almost bid on the donatello just cause it was going so much lower than the rest but I figured it would jump up last second and I really wasnt looking for that. I was watching the Leo but almost 300 was way to much for me. I guess the hunt continues!

I agree, pretty high. I would imagine that someone willing to pay so much, would also want the fan club flyer to display correctly. The fan club flyer in those figures is unfolded and takes away from its display characteristics, in my opinion.

Honestly I didn't pay much attention to the flyer. I was more concerned about the weird spot on the logo of the Mike one. Didn't want to pay that much with a spot on it.
Actually though, the flyers look ok to me. What is the correct way they should display?
I've seen them in really weird places that look totally off, like at the bottom of the bubble, etc..really ugly

The flyers are unfolded, which I think is ok. But I think unpunched vs punched is on same level as folded flyer vs unfolded flyer. I just figured if buyers were gonna pay $300 for a fan club turtle then they would want it to be a perfect example. I believe they are intended to be folded and placed in the little square holder behind the weapons.

Do any of these seem legit? I asked for pics of the Playmates Mikey, but he never got back to me. What's the difference between the artist proof edition and the regular sideshow Mikey? I tried contacting the person selling the sideshow Shredder, but it says they're not available for questions. Both the sideshow comiquettes have been up for some time now. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

I can't speak to the difference between artist proof, etc, but the all the sellers appear legit after analyzing their feedback. I'd say the shredder seller is easily the weakest of the 3 with several legitimate pieces of negative/neutral feedback. I hope this helps.
