Where's Oroku Saki? - Page 3

2 things.

1. In the trailer when he is talking to April there looks to be a Japanese type mural on the wall. That could tie things in with their being another branch in Japan.

2. Since we now know that the Turtles were actually a lab experiment that could be why they have super human strength. If Sachs takes the same ooze him being a white business man will no longer matter given the abilities the ooze with give him. In turn we don't need Saki.

I am going with either one of these possibilities.

only if you think a genetically altered super human is cooler than a normal guy who's just that damn good at kicking butt. I prefer the latter myself

What if Eric Sachs resurrected an ancient japanese warrior: Oroku Saki, hence why he's looking at the Shredder in the trailer?

Cliche plot 158# that has been done to death, but i wouldn't be surprised if they go that rout, if you read the blue door scrip you know that there where some cliche artifact's which they needed to get to stop Kraang from opening the portal to earth. Maybe they just scraped the dimension x thing and replaced it with bringing Oroku Saki to life?

This movie definitely has it's flaws and stuff that piss me off just as much as you, but I can at least be optimistic that we're going to be getting some pretty sweet GIF's from it later on. I wonder if Donnie has the standard Bo, or the upgraded one he's got in the Nick toon (I personally wouldn't mind him wielding something like Hit Girl had in her first fight in Kick Ass)

I'm not going to out and out write it off, but I saw a review from Black Nerd, and he had a pretty good point, in that when watching the Nick toon special and it showed the different dimensions depicting different versions of the Turtles, just pretend that this catastrophe is just one of them, nothing more, nothing less, and that maybe there will be some cool stuff in it that can be incorporated into later versions. The 2007 movie started the changing up of the Turtles eye color, and it looks like Mikey's eyes will be baby blues from here on out.

Don't apologize, that's by far one of the most reasonable post regarding the new film

Plus I've stated multiple times, that the story line of Turtles Forever pretty much opened the door for any incarnation of the turtles, which does wonders for the franchise.

Imagine all the plot bullcrap and stupid hoops they could have avoided jumping through... all of these stupid wall-of-text theories people keep pulling out of their shells.... if they had just gotten an Asian guy to play Shredder. It almost feels like 90% of the movie's plot will cater around justifying Shredder being white.

I'm perfectly fine with this movie being just another world in the turtleverse as long as it stays its own thing. My only beef with it is that being the first live action movie in over 20 years I really wanted to like it and I don't. And Im worried that if it ends up a success the powers that be at viacom might demand the comic and cartoon try to emulate it.
