I wish I had grabbed that silvery-blue mutagen when I had the chance. I haven't seen it in ages. Now all I ever see it the brightly colored stuff, which looks awful IMO.

yeah i really thought it'd stay on shelves longer... i still think they could reintroduce it at some point. maybe it'll be back on shelves closer to the holiday.

and yeah i got 4 tubes of the blue-green (so I could get 1 of each of the mini turtles), i don't care for the other colors because they totally ignore what's shown in the show where it's only one specific color.

I've got the opposite problem. That's the only mutagen we're getting here in the UK, it's everywhere (although it's a slightly different formulation than the original US ooze, since it lacks the nasty metallic residue), and all I want is some of the bright green stuff. I'd offer to trade some, but I'm fairly sure that it's prohibited to send stuff like that through the post...

I grabbed a jar of some generic ooze at Target for $3 in their Easter section. It was glow-in-the-dark green and looks perfect for mutagen. I took one of the multi-colored ooze mutagen containers and filled it with this stuff. Looks great!

Gah! I wonder if the silvery stuff was a problem, and that's why it's nowhere to be found. As someone who just wants it to display, that swirly silver effect was the main appeal!

Half tempted to buy the neon stuff just for the canister and figure out a way to make my own silvery blue ooze.

I was able to find all of the multi-colored ooze but I was only able to grab three canisters of the first toon accurate ooze. I need the Donnie mini turtle yet but I too am having trouble finding them in stores and on eBay. That would be nice if they re-released it!

I am thinking that we will see the next wave of figures in May too. I actually have been satisfied with the timing between releases. It gives me some time to save up some money before the next wave hits the stores. I was finally able to snag a Mikey stealth tech the other day! Now I have every basic released to date.

I would kill for a basic, no-gimmicks recreation of more screen-accurate turtles. I love the designs for the basic figures, but it's just weird how the main characters are in a totally different art style than every other figure released.

ikr I hate how they make a mutant figure and make him bad with paint and movement but basic figs are always better

I've seen those, but the battle shell is still a gimmick, and that means having a big hinge on the side of the shell. I want plain basic figures with designs like those.

Eh, I guess. The hinge isn't that noticeable to me, though.

When it comes to action figures and prop replicas, I'm ridiculously picky, but I will buy the **** out of anything that meets my demands.

I'm fine with them except for one. Leo. Since his shell is short his sheath wobbles around, his feet aren't even, he has a derpy face, and the head mold apparently had a dent in it.
I'm fine with only re releasing Leo.

I wonder if they corrected that. One of the factories randomly decided to make the leg pegs oddly uneven for some stupid reason.

I have to say, after liking at some reviews of the battle shell figures and seeing them out of the packaging, they look really nice. I probably wouldn't mind buying those, even if I still stand by my desire to see a set like them with no hollow shell gimmick.

yes... next wave should start appearing pretty soon. We'll see info from our posters in asia first, then they'll hit USA within 3 or 4 weeks of that. Which means it could be any day now of first sightings...
