Got home from my bachelor party and such and found the book at my house waiting for me. I'm a little disappointed in the shipping from amazon because the binding is all messed up. Oh well I guess.

I've got 5 days til the wedding so I won't be sitting down to read this bad boy until next week.

when I bought my copy amazon charged $35, a very reasonable price

BUT now the price is even lower, at $30

Go get a copy!

That's weird... we both pre-ordered, but mine was $30.00, not $35.00... Odd.

Why is it odd? It's normal on amazon. Prices change a lot. And sometimes the price does go down after the pre-order period has ended and the initial copies ship out.

I thought that you were guaranteed the lowest price if you pre-ordered, like if it's $35 when you pre-order but it dropped to $30 before the ship date, then you'd get the lower price automatically. If I remember correctly, mine was $35 when I first pre-ordered but I got mine for $30... I just found it odd that your price didn't drop too...

it is hard to say, because I don't know when you placed your order. You may have placed yours before me when it was $30 (even if just for 1 minute during that window of time) and I could have missed out on that.

I placed mine March 2. Well, at any rate the book is well worth even $40 or $50 so I guess the point is mute, lol.

I received my book on Wednesday afternoon, shortly before I left for heroescon. The corner was dented, normally I'd have returned it to get a nicer copy but I wasn't able to as I needed it for the con to have Eastman sign it.

I was about the 10th person in line on Saturday. The line was killer. Even being in line that close up I still waited quite awhile. I got up early to wait to get into the line just to get to the con lol

Yeah, It was $30 for me also, It came up to $36.09 with the standard shipping plus tax.

I pre-ordered this in December. My copy was shipped Friday from Amazon with 2-3 day shipping and isn't supposed to arrive until Thursday.

Meanwhile something I bought from Amazon (direct, not a reseller/secondary merchant, like the book) on Saturday, with 5-8 day shipping, showed up today.

I don't understand how this stuff works.

Finally got my copy in the mail yesterday. Pretty speedy delivery considering I ordered it thru amazon on the 16th of this month. Awesome book for everything turtles! Wished there coulda been more insights on the classic tmnt games and Konami.
