Should Hun be Casey's father in this show?

I am not a big follower of the 2k3 series, but he just feels like a lesser version of shredder to me. He's a human martial arts expert and the leader of the purple dragons (not all that distinct from the foot clan IMO)

So if they use Hun they better make him a whole lot more interesting.

if he were Casey's father I guess that would be a start, but that kinda goes against what is already established about Casey wanting to protect his dad and sister. Why would Casey need to protect his dad if he were anything like Hun?

Personally, I'm not sure if Hun would work in this show because he might be seen as too similar to Bradford. When he first showed up, I thought he was supposed to be some sort of expy for Hun.

If they bring in Bebop and Rocksteady, who is similar to Bradford and Xever's status as side kicks to Shredder, then there is no reason for them to not bring in Hun. Hell, make him into some kingpin or something.
