A Hamato/Oroku link would be great, but I believe that ship has sailed given the origin they went with. The original background story where they were Japanese men in love with the same women is still my favorite but it's kind of hard to change the movie continuity now. I'm personally pumped at the prospect of Casey Jones, but have to admit that I have such a narrow and precise view of what the character should be, I'll be happy with anything that comes close to my vision of him in an upcoming sequel.

I'm reluctant about seeing them because while it's likely they'll be the comedy relief, I fear it'll just be generic "Hurr durr we're so dumb we mess stuff up" humor that I never felt in the OT. I'm not saying that kind of humor can't be done and work... it's just that well, we might end up with Patrick and Spongebob levels of incompetence.

cube has a point... with the design and physical strength of these turtles, Beepbop and Rocksteady have to be HUGE like stupid Huge...if the turtles are already clocking 6 feet you may be be looking at 8-10 feet B and R

F that jive. One Piece of crap was enough. But it's planned in to years. The TMNT craze will have died down substantially by then. Just the way things go with the shows. I know there's a thriving comic book but they need the show to be thriving for the movies. I accepted the one off piece of crap for what it was and I watched it, just like I gave the nick series a chance. But I can't justify a sequel. I'd rather wait another decade for another show, a new series of comics and a movie done right.

I agree. If we thought the designs for the Turtles were ugly, I can only imagine them.

Oh well, I'm not going to let my obvious disappointment in this horrible film and possible franchise keep me distracted from all the other good TMNT media out there currently like the Nick Toon and the IDW comic.

I personally didn't find Knoxville's voice that bad, but Pete's voice was obviously a better choice for Leo.

Why is it that every single decision these people has made for this film only ended up turning out for the worst? No one, but the actors who played the turtles, should be proud of what they done.

That's totally easy to do. Splinter was having a nightmare that was the 2014 movie, and he wakes up as either Yoshi, or Yoshi's pet rat, the Turtles are back to normal sizes (no longer huge and hulking) Shredder is still Shredder, Sachs was just some random dude in his dream, so on and so on.
