Not necessarily a continuity error: Casey referred to the invasion from the first season having occurred "last year." We don't know how much time has passed between the first season finale and now. It could still conceivably be within a year that all these events have happened.

No one referenced the fact that April's Mom poured the mutagen or was suprised about the frogs living in the woods?

Ok. I didn't hate the frogs. I really thought I would. Happy to see April call out the guys for ragging on Mikey all the time and I love ICK wrestling. :3

At first I thought it was weird that they didn't address that Leo was off the came entirely. Then there was the scene where he bombed on that frog and it looked like it hurt his leg again.
Maybe Leo's permanantly messed up...

What do you expect? They're cartoon characters here. Just like Bart and Lisa Simpson, they never age.

It was? I thought it was him, but I wasn't sure if it was actually Heder.

Well the first invasion could have happened late in the year and the second one a few months later

I was right about Mikey wanting to return to New York.

Raph was such a jerk at the begining of this episode, he called Mikey a screw up and threw poor ICK back into the freezer but later it was sweet seeing him hug Mikey.

I'm glad April defended Mikey saying to others that they were jerks.

Bit confused on the age thing here but other than that, I loved this episode

Why would he want to go back to NYC? That place is pretty much hell on earth now, so why?

I know, but they're not normally a continuing storyline, most regular cartoons exist like the Groundhogs Day movie.

Still kind of laughing over this episode. Goofy as all get out in some ways, but I'd say it was pretty well a win through multiple parts of it. God I hope Bay & Co. know of the reference at some point... a nice friendly little jab at them. lol

It's possible that the first 3 seasons happened within a year.

The first 3 minutes of the episode had me afraid. Mikey running away was rushed and pretty weak, and way too many Napoleon Dynamite refrences came all at once.

Then they met the frog council and it was a great episode from then on out.

Dream Beavers look better than I thought they would. Hope the turtle's dreams give more insight into them than their worst fears did.

Because it's his home and has lived there all his life, I bet he misses the place and misses Splinter.

What did everyone love about this episode so much? I found it fun, but it was pretty meh in general. Not as bad as A Foot Too Big, though. It would've been better as a two-parter.

Fine episode. The Mikey development, the 2014 movie reference (seriously, LOL.), Napoleon being a Napoleon Dynamite-esque character, and the fact that the head of the frogs was played by the Godfather were the highlights of this episode. Also, I like that the Turtles are building an army. It'd be sweet to begin the Return to New York with them marching in with all the mutants they met behind them, ready for war.

Seriously, though, the next episode features the Dream Beavers. That's five filler episodes of little-to-no substance in a row (unless you count the third episode, which didn't blatantly start anything, and four if the next episode actually does bring us something). It feels like they're really testing the loyalty of the fans.

All I can say is, this better lead up to something amazing.
