Feels rather odd not to have Man Ray and Wingnut there, hopefully they show up over the course of this series.

Looking forward to this, I loved the old Mutanimals as a teen.

So I'm guessing Leatherhead will show up some time between Attack on Technodrome and the end of this miniseries.

The blurb also refers to Slash as the leader, but I imagine that's a mix-up (or a spoilery foreshadowing of events to come???)
Lindsey makes sense, as she would be of interest to a group like Null and without her, they'd be left without a way to expand their group.
(Spoiler blocking speculative text)
Spoiler:
My suspicion is that they'll track her down, only to find she doesn't want to be rescued, as Null has made a better offer. The group feels betrayed and at a loss for direction, always outsiders. Or perhaps she chooses to stick with the group when it turns out Null is incredibly evil or something. Just speculating

Anyways, looking forward to this.

This sounds great! I just wish it was Ben Bates drawing the covers and interiors with Kuhn providing ONE variant cover.

Hm, just a mini. Well I expected that to be the case, what other minis do you expect? Nobody? Casey?

The Alopex and Nobody team-up might prove interesting enough to carry its own mini eventually.

This did not need another thread- http://forums.thetechnodrome.com/showthread.php?t=49943

Mine is 5 pages deep, clearly that is the hub for this discussion.

Maybe the Miniseries is just a test, to see how its received. So what if it turns out really well, Then maybe they can continue doing it as a regular series.

And with Mutanimals coming to IDW. I wouldn't be surprise if the Nick TMNT series had an episode about the Mutanimals.

I don't know, I find it fitting. In MM#8 they were already basically eco-terrorists. "We can steal whatever the hell we want as long as we're saving the environment!"

They really had a lot of enviormental messages in the mutanimals comics. Jagwars issue probably aged the worst in my opinion.

Yeah, that was Steve Murphy's thing. But MM #8 is the one where I remember even as a kid being weirded out that the message was basically "It's okay to steal other people's stuff if we're using it to go punch polluters and poachers in the face." When I was younger and had no idea how the sales for MM were I wondered if #8 was one of the reasons the book got shut down.

Man, Leatherhead can't get here soon enough. The Mutanimals feel like they're lacking something without Leatherhead there.

Woah!

I actually didn't liked him much while he was doing the Krang War arc, but his more recent stuff is amazing!

Actually his covers/pinups/full page arts were always amazing.

Nice touch with Bates' sig on Herman's dumpster!

But what happens if/when Herman steps out of an urban environment? Does he change his "shell" to blend in?
