Before Liebesman, Brett Ratner was the first choice. Then Paramount gave him Hercules and Libesman came in. They have really bad taste to choose a director.

This article on the new director has confirmation on Bebop & Rocksteady from Andrew Form. I figured they would appear but has this been made official before? It's the first I've seen it.

As much love as we all have for Kevin, we all also take his opinion of any chunk of the TMNT franchise with a flippin' salt lick. He was the co-creator who green-lit Next Mutation. Kevin's Seal of Approval ain't what she used to be.

Okay, I liked the first movie, but I don't want the same f*ckin movie again. Move on & explore. TMNT has loads of awesome characters ready to put on the big-screen. No-one wants more Vern pining for a girl he's never gonna be with and Shredder I'm assuming with a new, more hardcore suit. They already milked that dry.
New hero addition Casey Jones, villain Baxter Stockman and henchmen Bebop & Rocksteady would be perrrfect.

"Work on it" is probably generous. He was hired just before they started shooting and made a push for a few things like The Raid inspired action scenes which seemingly never made it in to the movie or were cut much like his cameo. So basically he worked on storyboarding a few of the images in the intro. That's it. His job was little more than a spokesperson really.

Showing respect would be hiring a big name director, this just smacks of budget cutting for a movie they don't have much faith will make big money.

Unless Arnett's role is just a cameo I AM NOT INTERESTED. Vern is a character that has no purpose as a lead.

I kinda get the idea that bebop and rocksteady will be the sequel's 'snow chase scene'. Who cares if they're barely in it, they'll focus all of it on that one big scene and then work their way backwards to film around that. Who cares if the rest doesn't make sense as long as that one scene is in it.

I'm curious on how they will bring Bebop and Rocksteady in the movie. The Mutagen was built as a cure for some toxin, But we never actually seen the Mutagen tested on humans to see the cure work

Could the movie show the mutagen being tested on two humans? Even though was originally a cure?

Or with the knowledge they got that it turned 4 turtles humanoids, They decide to try it on two other animals, a rhino and a warthog.

I have not seen Earth to Echo, so I don't really have an opinion on this.

Unknown at this point are plot details and who will return from the original pic, though Megan Fox and Will Arnett are expected to reprise their roles.

Bebop & Rocksteady means return of Shredder...and the foot clan. So the brothers need reinforcement...someone who look like...hmm...Wayne Gretzky on steroids for example.
