Would anyone want to see the original cut of the film?

Baxter I wouldn't be surprised to see, though also wouldn't be surprised if the role was relatively minor. Karai on the other hand... questionable if she's even alive. So little attention was given to her though and just left unknown so I guess it could go either way. But if she was able to pull herself out of her damaged vehicle, with prob broken bones and the works, and manged to make it to safety off the side of a cold, snowy mountain and survive...

I would love to see an original cut. I could clearly see every point in the theatrical release where something had been cut out or pasted in, and I think this butchering of the original film so late in the game is what lead to many of the films plot holes. I'm happy Oroku saki replaced sachs, as there was no need to white wash that character in the first place, but just pasting him in without a complete overhaul of the script (just like all the other rewrites) made for some glaring plot holes.

I don't think the original cut would have been perfect, but it clearly would have made more sense. I guess what I'm saying is the original may have been a crappier turtle movie, but a slightly tighter film.

Even with the theatrical cut "as is" there are parts of the film I find enjoyable. As a filmmaker I would definitely be interested to see them side by side for a more complete analysis of what was always bad, and what simply got worse with all the re-shoots.

I'd definitely need a strong drink to sit through this movie again in any format. I suppose it couldn't really hurt, but part of my brain's just going "aw man... do we really have to do this again?!"

I would be game to see what they originally had planned. Not sure if it would make the movie any better, but I would defiantly love to see where they were going to take Sachs before the rewrites, or what they changed in general.

Editing can't fix the horrible acting and dialog, after all. And that... "script". Given what they had to work with it would literally have to be a completely different movie to be worth it. Nah, no thanks.

That Cinema Sins clip sated my appetite to ever see anything from this again. That is a whoooooole lot of "shut your brain off" crammed into one movie. It's literally TOO awful for me to even sit through it. And it's not just a bad movie, it's a bad movie about something I care about. Booo!

Seeing some actual martial artists would be nice...I mean seeing the Foot with guns all terrorist style in the trailer turned me away from the film initially and killed my interest...but if I'm wrong please correct me.

There's a lot of shooting and taser-ing but not a lot of actual "martial arts", sorry. They do dumb sh*t like attack en masse wielding guns and then forget they're holding guns and move in one-at-a-time to get their asses kicked, and occasionally swarm clumsily like flies. That's about it.

Nope. The "foot" don't use martial arts or martial arts weapons of any kind.

My favorite character in the franchise and one of my favorite fictional heroic characters period was a Total Bitch.

I suppose you get that when you get your skills from "Ninjas For Dummies", but it's infuriating. Especially when everyone hates your favorite character to begin with.

Like I said elsewhere, a LOT of things about the movie seemed like a cosmic prank, as if someone, somewhere, was making the entire movie just to piss ME off, specifically, doing every single thing possible to make me hate it. Like, every few seconds, "Oh, F*ck you, movie!" It's uncanny. I've literally never had this exact experience.

Then again, I've only seen "Batman and Robin" in five-minute snippets or so, and never to completion. I'm not a sadist. But that was pretty similar, I guess. That movie also felt like the people making it were giving me the finger the entire time.

Ah, I see. Yeah, I feel you on poor Leo getting treated like that in the movie. Even Raph didn't get it as bad as he did. Except for that shell-cracking thing.

Yeah, we'll save that for Raph in the sequel- he's the "tough" one, after all- he can take it..... Just as long as they leave my sweet Mikey alone! (Okay, sweet in MOST versions, at least. Here- well, he could tone down the horn-dog act, but otherwise, I liked him.)
