Ohhh, I see.

I sort of agree, though. I like them both, but the 2003 version stands out a lot to me - it was the first time she was used outside of the comics (unless you count the Tournament Fighters game), and though they significantly changed her backstory it's still the "truest" version we've seen yet.

It's a shame we never got a "regular" Karai figure for the 2003 show or this one, so far.

I think the best standard Karai figure we've gotten is the TMNT movie version - the only one that just represents the character without some kind of gimmick. Kinda regret not buying that one.

Though if Playmates would produce a human Karai figure for the Nick series I'd definitely buy it. And I haven't bothered with the line since wave one.
I bought that karai. It had an interchangeable head as well. My son pulled the head off and now both are missing. Probably at the bottom of the toy bin.

Thanks Ninjinister! Can't wait to get the Dream Beavers.
(also quick question, were the 'Dojo' and 'Stealth Tech' toys inspired by episodes I might have missed, or were they just random toys?)

Random toys. The turtles never donned Tech "ghostbuster" Suits or dojo outfits in any season of the nick show.

Thanks Autbot_Benz, I won't be getting those then They're the only TMNT's currently available at my closest retailer but I refuse to get ones that aren't relevant to the show.

Muckman returns!

I don't see how Atilla the Frog is an action figure. He looks too much like Mr. Swlabr from the old horror show 'Monsters'. Then again, the best figures of this line appear to be revamps of figures from the original 1988 toyline. Monkey Brains and the Dream Beavers don't stand out as much as Muckman or Slash. I prefer the original Slash to the new one. It's just not badass looking like a Slash action figure is supposed to be. Slash has been labelled the Boba Fett of the TMNT universe. I can't ignore how even the new Party van and Blimp aren't bright spots like the originals.

Not sure of the pedigree. These are all pretty generic, but uber cute.

Muckman is great, and I will get that Attila, I'm hoping will see Genghis and Rasputin to actually have all four. Of course a Frog Warrior would make for a good army builder.

I know, I wanted to point that I understand that all figures Playmates do can't be like that one in terms of quality and awesomeness, but yet Playmates fails in what the do: afordable cool looking kids toys

He's not. He's not even up to the quality of a Happy Meal toy. He's hollow to accomodate the action feature (flip the lever on his back and his tounge sticks out) with a whopping 4 POA - swivel/hinge shoulders.

Might just be the worst TMNT toy Playmates have ever put out.
