What can I say? Easily the best episode of this season. Great to see Shredder, Tiger Claw, Baxter Stockman, The Foot - hell, even the Kraang again! And the Shredder clones, did NOT expect to see them!

What exactly is so wrong about "spooge" anyway? It's not like he's saying "splooge".

I don't know if anyone else caught this or not. The episode description on Comcast had the generic episode description that was used for the 4Kids series, something like: "The turtles battle their arch nemesis The Shredder, who's in league with a madman Baxter Stockman." I think since the 4Kids repeats had aired recently on Nick Toons, someone goofed and thought that Nickelodeon was airing the 4Kids episode "Return To New York".

Spooge is slang for semen.

Never heard of it, other than the Breaking Bad character . Only ever heard of "splooge", which I assure you is more commonly used.

Anyone spot this?

The goo that Baxter Stockman fires at Mikey completely disappears within mere seconds!

Why oh Why did I not notice this when I first saw the episode.

The Cheesephone made an appearance and possibly it's last appearance

Interesting how the Shredder mutants were mutated from crabs/lobsters in this version, that explains why that one Shredder clone always had lobster claws. As we see the 4-armed goro one had a lobster shell too this time around.

The lobster claw Shredder clone never did make sense in Mirage.

As Splinter said "This isn't home, but it would serve for now"

Donnie also suggested places that have been homes for them in previous incarnations. Such as an old subway station (Season of the Ooze) and abandoned power plant (the third lair in the 2k3 incarnation)

They are likely to seek out a more perminant shelter later, but for now they have food, they have water, and if they need anything else they can probably borrow from some of the abandoned homes near by.

I love it when they reference stuff like that, especially the 2K3 series.

I asked Amazon this morning when they were planning on uploading this episode. They responded by telling me they "don't seem to have the DVD in stock". This was after I specifically indicated that I was asking about Instant Video, too.

Finally ajour with the show, and this episode did not disappoint. Loved the inclusion of the Shredder clones, or Shredder Crustaceans

Although, might be the last we saw of Four-Arms?

Hands down the best episode of the season!!!!
Loved splinter being crazy,
April and Casey helping him (I had forgot Casey's Rat phobia)
Loved Raph painted Venus
LOVED The "Foot Stinks" Reference.
Everyone else probably hated this but loved Mikey pushing that button.
Loved That not one turtle outshined the other!!!! They were all awesome!
Loved we got to see what was going on in the city. (I was really surprised at just how BAD some of them farm house episodes where)!
I liked Leos reaction to his katana Breaking some how reminded me of OT Dons "Gee, that was my favorite bow" IDK why
It was just an awesome episode... Can't wait for the next!

Making the Shredder "mutants" crustaceans might have been one of the greatest concepts this show has ever had. Pure genius. A shrimp, a lobster, & a crab. Absolutely loooooved that. I wonder what kinda gnarly faces they'd have had under the mask! Can't believe they literally threw the one to his death in a blender. That, Spooge, the show really does go under the radar sometimes, & boy do I love it. Feral Splinter was a cool concept but I was really not looking forward to that becoming a thing for the next few episodes, so I'm glad that was resolved within 15 minutes. So glad. Baxter's lab is awesome, I wonder if much will come of it other than Bebop & Rocksteady, seems he's damn near got a whole zoo in there, if not just the proper conditions for future beasts. I really like Baxterfly, so it's cool he's gotten more shine, even at such a key time plot-wise. The new theme visuals are killer, I absolutely loved that. B&R look so badass in the black whip, too. Wish I had caught Mondo when it aired but at least I got to see the screen-cap after the fact. Sweet! It's a bit odd at first glance that he's not neon green, but I dig the realistic palette too. Did I spy the Turtle Blimp, too? Thought so. I wonder if the turtles will re-use their Vision Quest attire, given they wore it in the intro. The folks behind this show don't like models to go to waste, so I suspect they'll make at least one more appearance. Maybe in the finale or something. Anyway, yeah, the Shredders had me super hyped up, seems the Mirage nods are kinda rare these days. I hope there are more references soon. Having the boys hide out in a pizzeria is great. The Party Wagon was cool & I love that included multiple nods to vintage Playmates gear, like the soda cannons, for example. This episode was exactly what we've needed, & I'm blown away that they were able to cram all that they did into it without anything suffering for it. Vision Quest had all kinds of problems in that department, I felt, but this one was perfect.

Yeah tell me about it, Mikey makes 1 mistake and people start bashing him for it. It is supposed to be a running gag to make small children laugh, I even laugh at it.
