I wish he were more competent myself, but I do understand their angle for him, however unfortunate it is. I find myself audibly reacting though, either a groan or an "ARGH, MIKEY!!" when he does those kinda things. This episode had me very vocal, period. Was super exciting!

Mikey is supposed to be the goofy one. God forbid he actually makes a mistake from time to time.

I'm a 23-year-old man and even I laughed at it.

To reply to the Crognard thing: I thought the guy was saying "Smooch" all this time, but if it's something different, then good on them for getting it past the censors. Then again, they did use the "We're not that kind of sub!" line and got away with pretty much implying that the monster was having sex with the sub, so it doesn't really surprise me. Heck, there were a ton of adult references in Powerpuff Girls I didn't notice at first, but when I spotted them, I was blown away at how much they could get away with.

I think the idea is supposed to be that there is a parallel dimension that interacts with their own on a quantum level, & only it is currently habitable to the newly mutated humans as earth hasn't yet been fully terraformed. She, having Kraang DNA, is in tune to their biological frequencies or whatever, & can sense their presence.

Yeah, and Nick's lack of promotion for the show doesn't help either...

I loved all of the Party Wagon scenes, especially the Foot Stinks Bomb. Wow! Splinter had a training wheel in his cage, the bad guys have a twisted sense of Humor. The John Carpenter like music score reminded me of Escape from New York. I really liked the new intro. I sure hope that the vision quest training shows how it helped the turtles prepare for future battles.

That scene didn't bother me either, actually. Mikey was on-point for the entire episode and was doing decently when fighting against Baxter. One mistake, which is a running gag, isn't so bad. Besides, I'd rather have Mikey push a button by accident than how it was first season with his ,"Ooo shiny! What does this button do?" portrayal.

I kind of laughed when Mikey pushed the button. I was like, "Ah, gotta get at least one goofy moment in there." I still feel they were trying to use lighthearted moments to help detract from the darkness this episode had. Splinter being all crazy and those Shredder clones being literally killed was a bit dark as well as seeing Splinter in underwear. To quote Raph, "Ah, I need to wash my eyes!"

Whoo, finally got the poll up!

This was a great episode. Seeing a feral Splinter was super weird, especially seeing him in just those underpants things he was wearing. He's defninitely rat-shaped - there's no human legs there...

I love the new intro. Seeing the boys in their vision quest gear is fantastic. I can't wait to see the serpent hunt. I'm really curious to find out what happened with Karai and Splinter during those months down in the deepest sections of the sewers..

Not over here, it ain't. In the US, there's no "l" in it. Which is what made it so funny. Particularly given the little critter's appearance....

Actually, that was SECRET of the Ooze, and the third lair in 2K3 was a water treatment station, not a power plant. It was under the Castle by Belvedere Lake in Central Park. That's why it had the water holding tanks when they moved in.

I wonder what kinda gnarly faces they'd have had under the mask! Can't believe they literally threw the one to his death in a blender. That, Spooge, the show really does go under the radar sometimes, & boy do I love it. Feral Splinter was a cool concept but I was really not looking forward to that becoming a thing for the next few episodes, so I'm glad that was resolved within 15 minutes. So glad. Baxter's lab is awesome, I wonder if much will come of it other than Bebop & Rocksteady, seems he's damn near got a whole zoo in there, if not just the proper conditions for future beasts. I really like Baxterfly, so it's cool he's gotten more shine, even at such a key time plot-wise. The new theme visuals are killer, I absolutely loved that. B&R look so badass in the black whip, too. Wish I had caught Mondo when it aired but at least I got to see the screen-cap after the fact. Sweet! It's a bit odd at first glance that he's not neon green, but I dig the realistic palette too. Did I spy the Turtle Blimp, too? Thought so. I wonder if the turtles will re-use their Vision Quest attire, given they wore it in the intro. The folks behind this show don't like models to go to waste, so I suspect they'll make at least one more appearance. Maybe in the finale or something. Anyway, yeah, the Shredders had me super hyped up, seems the Mirage nods are kinda rare these days. I hope there are more references soon. Having the boys hide out in a pizzeria is great. The Party Wagon was cool & I love that included multiple nods to vintage Playmates gear, like the soda cannons, for example. This episode was exactly what we've needed, & I'm blown away that they were able to cram all that they did into it without anything suffering for it. Vision Quest had all kinds of problems in that department, I felt, but this one was perfect.

Ditto to all this. ^

Hey, when Leo's sword (that mysteriously reappeared when in the pizza place) fell into the mutagen, I was almost expecting a sword mutant to pop out somehow. I'm sure some others jokingly said this too. Well, my mind jumped to this...

"Good night everybody!" You know, I now want Donnie to say that at least once to a potentially disturbing situation, like how Donnie randomly said, "like a turtle do" for this ep. lol

I guess this might point out that the car mutant from the speed demon episode must have been a human driver.
