I found it weird they left the mutant chicken but took Ice Cream kitty. If anything the chicken was more useful unless there fighting the Rat King.

Maybe they took them based on feelings and not usefulness. It could be possible that Dr. Cluckingsworth wanted to stay at the farm with her other chicken friends.

ICK isn't that ambulatory, since she's at risk of melting, and no one would be around to feed her if she was stuck in the fridge at the farmhouse all alone. Cluckingsworth can probably fend for herself.

She sure can, and she's pretty much a genius because of that mutagen fuel she got into, so I imagine she'll be just fine there on the farm. She'll literally rule the roost and all that.

I loved it big time. The ONLY thing I would have liked to have seen was for them to go and live in an abandoned subway tunnel. I guess it would be kinda hard to make that work though since they wouldn't have as much privacy as like at the lair. I just wish they would have done it for a liiiiittle while though. Still it was awesome and I can't wait to see Bebop and Rocksteady and Karai next week. I also thought that maybe when Baxter opened that door that maybe Tokka was gonna be in there and I was NOT expecting all those Shredder clones. It was sweet to watch Splinter pwn them. I loved seeing Leatherhead again too and seeing the blimp float by in the background was awesome. Total fan service ep and I really appreciate that.

Just the thought of them being back at Antonio's makes me wonder if Pizzaface is going to return. Speaking of returning characters, did anyone spy Mutagen Man in the lair before the turtles left? Just curious if he's still there or if the Kraang or Foot might have taken him.

Apparently Pizza Face is returning in the Animated Adventures comic.

No we didn't see Mutagen Man at all, we didn't even see Donnie's Lab. The Turtles didn't even stick around because the lair was unsafe. If he's still there then I expect the turtles will have to go back down to the lair at some point.

They are going to need to go down and take out that Kraang security droid some how. Even if it's just so they can get their belongings.

It's not going to be easy taking down a security droid that would most likely report back to Kraang HQ if the turtles were spotted. Not even pigeons can help this time since it apparently just shoots anything that moves.

I think we'll be counting on Donnie to hack it or lure it away from the old lair without noticing any irregularities going on. And he can't even jam its wireless signal or something because Kraang HQ would notice the signal loss and send another droid to check out the situation. It needs to continue reporting back to Kraang HQ that everything is normal, hopefully that's something Donnie can reprogram it to do (and we might be seeing Metalhead 2.0 in the works, who knows!)

I have to disagree with the majority of the comments here. This was an important episode, but I wasn't in love with it. Auman wrote it, and he has a tendency to dumb down Mikey, which I'm not really a fan of. Plus, everything was a bit too cconvenient in this episode. I would have preferred it if April's "powers" didn't solve everything. Good pace, though. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Seeing Splinter feral was a nice touch, as well.

Betting they will at some point... I've read something about Gilbert Gottfried reprising his role as Kraang Sub-prime, and as far as we know, he's still stuck under that staircase. Wonder how he's held out under there for 4 months?

Very good episode! A lot of action and a lot of the old characters came back. Is good that they go back to New York and a lot of good action episodes will be coming.

Great episode with a lot of action. I'm glad Master Splinter is back with his family. I would like to see Leo instead of April working to restore Master Splinter's mind using meditation.

They find a new to live since the lair is not longer safe. And I hope they can find Mr. O'Neil and Karai, so Donnie can turn them back to normal once he has his new lab.
