Sewer Lair 2.0... Asking for another playset the size of the sewer lair is too much I guess, but a refresh of the sewer lair itself with some new colors, stickers and cardboard pieces is not beyond the means of Playmates

Maybe that means the 1.0 version will be going on clearance soon?

It's always been hard to find it for under $50... and even THAT is very rare since the MSRP shot up from $99 to $120 or so.

Look a little closer...the brown knee and elbow pads are now color coded too I believe. The Raphael one was red as far as I remember and now I want to go back and confirm that with the others.

Edit: yeah the pads are definitely given the Fred Wolf treatment. Interesting how the playmates guy made it sound like they have potential to not be released. Seems like it will be like slash and cockroach where they will just randomly start showing up on pegs with different paint apps.

Yeah those are the ones I couldn't figure out, are they from the show or just random repaints.

Yeah, it's the exact same 2012 Basic figures, only with a FW color scheme with the pads colred as the bandanna, and their intials are printed into the standard belt (not even any new tooling to make a belt buckle) and added pupils in the eyes.

watching Pixel Dans video showcasing the upcoming figures i think Sir Malachi would be better then Spike in that 3 pack with ICK and Dr Cluckingsworth IMO

Unless they don't paint him and he ends up looking like the baby turtles that come in the tubes of mutagen.

I was so pleased when they set up shop here!
I went with AA becasue i couldn't afford/justify the full sewer lair.
A shoe box painted next to the set makes for a perfect botched together lair.

That's what I did.
The Anchovy Ally set is really nice, and a cheaper alternative to the Sewer Lair.

Where can I find pics of these turtles? I've seen all of the pics but haven't noticed the turtles.

Jester...thanks so much for that!! I had no idea that this existed. I just grabbed one off of ebay for $10 brand new in box. Going to use it for a turtles custom. AWESOME!!

After looking at this piece it got me thinking about what other TMNT classic pieces were used in other toylines. Is there a thread here (or source from another site) that shows any/all of the re-used toys from this line??

I had no clue about that Chicken Run vehicle. It does look nice actually. I'm going to customize it a bit to fit the turtles line.
