It would be awesome, he would still basically be the same character, but I feel like an older Casey would bring something more as a Turtles ally. I don't feel like Casey's age really matters too much, or affects how he would associate with the Turtles, when it comes down to it. He would be this buff vigilante who has actual 80s experience to bring to the movie universe. Casey Jones moving closer to Charles Bronson on the scale. Koteas has the charisma to still make him a romantic interest for April too...I'm having trouble thinking of the right "cover job" for his day life, but I could see Casey doing sportscasting at Channel 6 maybe? That would put him into "competition" with Vernon at least...

I could see it now, a brief scene with his sportscast early in the movie, then later, while April's leaving work, some teenage punks start screwing with her in the parking lot. Things are starting to look pretty bad when one of them suddenly goes down in the shadows. April thinks it's the turtles when an unfamiliar voice taunts: "ya little pukes..." and a beating ensues. Later, he'd get revealed "for real" in a throwback-style encounter with Raph, and join up with the turtles against whatever antagonist Michael Bay craps out (unless he wants to pay me. I mean, this is obviously the hot **** right here, :p haha...)

I think now the best option is Kirk Cameron. He just won all kinds of awards, so he is the best choice.

Andy Samberg would be a fun Casey Jones. He's funny as hell & does great tough guy face. Seriously, there are moments in his past SNL action movie parodies where you can see he'd be legitimately good in an action film. Seems as realistic as Will Arnett (a real life friend of his) being in the original. And then The Lonely Island could do the single. btw, where the fook are the casting rumours at??? The thing apparently starts in April and we haven't heard sh*t.

I don't know about that, Casey Jones was never a goofball, He needs to be intense.

1. The rest of the world gives not a single **** that tmnt 2 is happening,

2. This is by far, the strangest casting call you've made yet.

You could easily do a youtube series of "my cast for - x" and generate a huge amount of interest.

Like for example, who would you have cast as Aquaman? Who should be the next Bond? The new Spider-man? etc... Your ideas are so counter intuitive, you could make hundreds on youtube... HUNDREDS I TELLS YA!

Well, kid-audience aside (who are gonna see it, especially with no competition that week), I wouldn't say theres a huge demand out there for a sequel, more of a curious interest in what other characters will get the movie treatment (kind of comparable to The Expendables - no-one was dying for a second film like that, they just wanted to see who gets added to the franchise). Big reason why I don't see this MeganFox/Turtles series lasting longer than two films.

That's what I'm saying, on paper, Samberg is ridiculous. But for *this* particular series, he'd fit right in. The original cast Whoopi Goldberg as April's boss, Will Arnett as April's colleague and Johnny Knoxville the most serious Ninja Turtle. If anything, it's probably the most accurate Casey suggestion here

He'd nail a live-action (older) version of Nickelodeon's Casey.
