I remember saying stuff like this before the first one was released...and look how terrible that one turned out.

According to IGN Tohoru Masamune is returning as Shredder.

I don't understand why people are moaning about this.

The Clipper's cameo will probably last 30 seconds and maybe won't even make the final cut.

That scene with the model and Will Arnett will probably last a minute and also may not make the final cut.

I just hope we can see his face this time, Every time he was on, His face was darkened, Like they were trying to hide his scarred face, But I remembered when we saw that first pic of him, Someone increased the exposure and sure enough, His face was scarred.

Sounds like a 2 minute scene to introduce Vern and what he's been upto at the top of the movie.

That's what I was thinking, Its nothing more then just a scene of Vernon doing whatever, I don't think it adds to the movie.

I would guess he gets a cellphone call from April regarding something, And he happens to be at an NBA game at the time.

Yeah, I wondered if maybe a phone call as well, but with speaking roles for athletes, I dunno. Maybe they're just saying random junk more clearly for the shot. Surely no one is interviewing the opposing team for Channel 6.

Either way it might get cut.

What I want... Turtles are watching the game, see Vern on tv in the audience, Turtles call Vern.

I'd bet the speaking role for DeAndre is nothing more than saying 'Hey man! Get out the way!' Or something like that.

And also Megan Fox wasn't there, So its just Will Arnett himself, So its just a scene involving him.

I'm moaning because of the cost involved. A big reason the Turtles didn't get as much screentime as they deserved was because of the $$$ associated with the CGI and VFX.

Do you really think hiring a handful of freaking NBA players for a 2-minute scene is a wise use of limited finances?

If I remember correctly, They are spending 70 million to shoot in New York, I wonder if that's the film's entire budget, Or that's the cost they put in, to shoot at many locations in NYC.

About 63 million is being used to shoot in NYC, I dont know where the rest is going to.

Well, some of it has to go to pay for the CGI stuff and all the time and effort that requires. Likewise editing department, etc.

How much did they spend to shoot in NYC last time? Because you didn't get any real feel for the city at all in that one - if they didn't state it was in New York, I'd have believed it was in any generic metropolis.

That's fine, though. Because the sweeping aerial establishing shots and scenes at NBA games more than make up for the Turtles being supporting players in another of their movies, right!?

Only thing that specifically signified it was NYC to me: the New Years 2014 numbers - that accompanied the ball that drops in Times Square - got destroyed by the tower as it fell.
Spoiler:
Guess it was good that the ball was spared... Nope, no Time Square ball for 2015, a bunch of Turtles tore it down. Wut? lol (But not really their fault...)

The reason it annoys me is, it's wasted resources. They're already trying to cram the movie with more stuff while not spending significantly more money on it, and beyond that... did anyone honestly ever say this kinda thing is what they'd hoped to see in a TMNT movie? Two minutes or two seconds, I completely don't give a sh*t about this kind of thing in a movie about Ninja Turtles. It's just even MORE focus on absolutely anything BUT the supposed "stars" of the movie. People complained last time, and even people who liked that POS were like, "Just wait! Next time it'll be chock full of Turtley Goodness!" No. You're wrong. If anything, we'll see even LESS of the Turtles than last time. Bank on it.

Nobody actively wants to see this sh*t. Whether it "bothers" anyone or not, whether they'll tolerate it or not, that's not the point. It's a waste of time, and it shows you exactly what kind of things are of value to the people behind this project. It's also a waste of money, because I doubt they're getting to do this scene for free, or for cheap.

Misplaced priorities.

Bingo bango. Odds are the first movie gave us as much "story" as we're ever gonna get out of this series. From here on out it's just more loud, jerky action scenes and explosions and product placement. And more and more scenes of "fan-favourites" like Eric Sacks and Vern to pad it out and keep the CGI budget shaved down as much as possible.

I make my plea once more to whoever's reading: please stop paying for this.
