Realizing that Chandler wasn't going to let her alone like that, Shiro had no other options.

Shiro: Look, I can't let people get a look at me...I...I have a...condition. If it gets found out, I'll be screwed. *takes her hood off, but leaves the mask on, revealing her long, albino hair* This mask isn't for show. It's for protection. If I take it off and show you my reason, do you promise not to tell anyone or do anything bad to me?

Shiro: Where? I'm not going into a hospital where a bunch of sick doctors are gonna dissect and experiment on me. Been there before, and I'm not letting that happen again. You know those aliens that attacked New York months ago? A branch of theirs in Canada mutated and experimented on me until I turned into this...

Shiro sighed, deciding that if Chandler could be cool with her being a mutate and not freak out as if she was a monster, then he needed to know the whole truth about the Kraang conspiracy to truly understand why she didn't trust anyone with surgical or medical training.

Shiro: Just like several other human beings and animals, I was used in an attempt to see if their mutagen would work the way they wanted to. When they used on me, it merged half my DNA with the last organism I touched. After that, they tortured me with experiments. They're horrid monsters. They even experimented on an entire bloodline so that their DNA could help synthesize the mutagen so it would work the way it would. They can't anymore since the subject they wanted, April O'Neil was murdered...but no doubt they'll either find another way to get their mutagen to work, or did what they did to O'Neil's great grandfather and on wards...

Chandlers eyes went wide hearing about April. He suddenly experienced a rare conflict for him, letting the anger of his cousins murder almost cause him to jab an arrow into shiros cut and make her tell him everything. But he calmed, knowing that she was just another victim. "Well now I definitely can't let you bleed out. Come on" he said putting his arm under shiros shoulder and helping her move. "I'll help you make sure you don't die, but you need to tell me everything about April O'neil after. Now, hospitals out, there's got to be somewhere safe for you. You've been here awhile right? Where have you been staying, and is there anyone there or that knows you that can help?"

Mikey gasped as he woke from his nightmare. He kept having that dream of himself turning against his brothers and becoming Shredder's student. Ever since April had been murderered, Mikey had been a little distant from his brothers. He was always doing his chores along with the others' as a way to distract him from having to deal with the grief from April's murder.
