So much wrong in one post.

THAT'S blatantly untrue. The Turtles are without a doubt the stars of their own cartoon. The complete opposite of BayTurtles.

BayTurtles milks nostalgia to try and cash in on it. Nick Turtles are made by fans for fans AND a new audience, striking a nice balance between both.

Try harder.
And here I thought the "mutant(s) of the week" are the stars of the Nick show.

With the numerous OT elements in Nick and the Bay films bringing Bebop, Rocksteady, and possibly Krang too, seems like nostalgia milking to me.

Must be watching a different show. Because clearly they're not if they're "mutants of the week."

Not even trying.

And, again, the cartoon is written/worked on by fans for fans whereas the movie is Michael Bay going for another cash grab on behalf of Paramount/Platinum Dunes.

Most of the attention is about the mutants on the Nick show. I guess a lot of us are watching a different show:

I think that is the feeling of many people on here, so you aren't alone on this. Hopefully they have way less of the MOTW junk and start doing stuff with the existing dudes they have.

Just because something is written/worked on by fans, doesn't automatically make it better quality though. But if we are solely comparing Nick versus the Bay movies, then yes, the Nick cartoon is better.

So because there were mutants of the week, and some people lamented that...the show wasn't about the Turtles?

Which it clearly is?

I didn't dispute that there were mutant of the week episodes. I disputed that the show didn't star the Turtles which you clearly said that it didn't.

How delusional are you?

Considering how Nick April has becoming more of a Mary Sue of sorts, how the love triangle took a substantial amount of show's time, and the amount of promotional attention those Nick mutants of the week get within the series, and nostalgic elements, it could appear the Nick Turtles are not necessarily on the forefront of the series.

I don't know how you classify or define "star", but the fact that character development has taken a backseat to whatever hyped-up imaginative mutant is introduced in the upcoming Nick show is taking up more of the show's screen time and excitement, doesn't seem to "star" or at least focus on the Turtles that I would have hoped for. And that's where I see the parallels. Most of the excitement in both the Nick show and the Bay movies are about which new character (mutant or not) is appearing rather than the character development that I would like to see. ...But that's just me I guess.

If this rumor is true, I hope it's just an end credits tag.

3-4 episodes is now "substantial amount of the show's time". Got it.

It could appear. But doesn't.

Again, untrue.

Batting a thousand.

Where? Who?

Or are you just making this up because it helps your bad argument that the great, fun cartoon and sh*tty BayTurtles are at all alike in any way?

I would imagine Krang's arrive to earth would be, a human stepping out of the Portal, Then suddenly It's chest opens up to reveal Krang inside.

That would be a killer end credits/mid credits tag, though it'd probably leave kids crying (also how the fuuaack are they gonna do a live-action Krang without it potentially freaking kids out? Based on the aesthetic of the Turtles, I just imagine their Krang looking like Kuato from Total Recall or something).

Another thing about bringing Krang into this movie, Given that this is live action, Should he speak in an alien language, But when he uses the body, You hear English?

That's what the Nick series has been doing with the Kraang, Without there bodies, They make some kind of squeaky noises, but once they are in a robot body, They speak English, But in a funny way.
