There isn't any proof as Don didn't outright admit it. He just made a face at Mikey when Mikey alluded to the crush.

So why did they decide to keep the floating head illusion when they quite clearly showed Simultaneous true form in a flashback?

Great episode. Really liked this version of Renet, she was awesome.

I dunno, maybe he'll actually appear in "Tales of the Yokai". It makes sense when you think about it. You can't have Lord Simultaneous appear without having his classic design. I mean, Renet and Savanti (forgetting the stupid mutant bull****) were mostly kept the same.

I'm surprised how similar Renet and Savanti were to their Mirage and 4kids counterparts, usually old characters are very different when they debut in this show. Their personalities were great and loved the skeleton fight.

I really liked the fight at the end in all the gears, but it could have been even better. It could have been really similar to the ending clock tower fight in the movie The Great Mouse Detective, which is extremely epic.

Anyway, I've already mentioned the episode is a lot of fun, but that's about it. I didn't take Mikey's line about April like Donnie was over her at all.
And why did they say Savanti was a mutant? I don't have much experience with the character but I don't think he is in other versions. Are the Kraang still mutating things in the future?

Raphael and horses... That's all I have to say. This episode is AWESOME!

I loved Renet and Wizard Donatello.

I wasn't really that bothered by the mention of Savanti being a mutant, seeing how the original story mentioned how Savanti's demonic appearence was a punishment by Simultaneous.

It is a weird change though, that and the mention that Renet is from the future rather than a dimension void of time. Eh, whatever, maybe children would be confused over mixing time and alternate dimensions?

A change I didn't like was that Renet grabbed the Time Scepter to stop Savanti, instead of just taking it to play with it. Some people might think of her as too selfish if they did it that way but I consider it to be kind of important to Renet's character.

Glad I'm not the only person who thought that. Unfortunately that film doesn't get as much credit as its fellow Disney counterparts, which is a real shame.

It made me laugh how Mikey's attempt to hook up with Renet went better on this one occasion that all of Donnie and Leo's attempts with Karai and April put together. Sweet, sincere and surprisingly uncringeworthy.

Find it a bit weird though that Raph can bond with pigeons and a tortoise but has issues with horses.

Plus to me, there's a big difference between "I don't have a crush anymore." and "I don't like her anymore." If people are trying to believe that Donnie doesn't like April anymore is completing preposterous. I know "Deadly Venom" aired a while ago, but that was just the episode before, and Donnie looked really freaking desperate to try and save her. Sure didn't look like someone that had no emotional investment in another character.

Furthermore, I think it's crazy to assume this upcoming "Creeping" episode won't have any kind of Donnie/April scene during Donnie's little...predicament.

Yeah, that caught me off guard. I always figured he was more akin to being some demon-type thing.

No, he was a human in Mirage and he was mutated into his devil form by Lord Simulatenous for trying to steal the time scepter.

If I don't get at least one, "NARF" or "Point!" out of that episode, I will be severely disappointed.

Feeling so fake for missing the Genghis/Billy/Socrates Bill & Ted reference, especially as I'm currently wearing a Bill & Ted t-shirt. My bad.

When the knight said 'Egad!" in response to Donnie's attempt at an English accent, was it possibly a sly reference to Pinky? "Egad Brain."

Fantastic episode, it's a nice change from the mutant of the week format and the Shredder Karai stuff.

Very much agreed. I swear I've heard Savanti's voice before?

Savanti was voiced by Graham Mctavish who played Dwalin the dwarf in the hobbit movies and Loki in Avengers EMH
