Also, wanted to mention, when Donnie had the scottish accent and said "there's just too many of them captain~"

was that a reference to something?

Pretty sure that's from Star Trek.

The girl Leo had tea with in "Slash & Destroy". I forget who said it, but one of the people working on the show said that's her name apparently.

Peter Di Cicco confirmed it.

Well... that's one way to work around Hoon Lee's stint on Broadway.

Incredible, incredible, incredible. A wide variety of well-realized action, tons of emotion, tons of humour, and a bajillion characters in the mix that (mostly) all felt well-utilized. This is how it's done.

Michael Dorn as Mozar and David Tennant as Fugitoid? This one just pressed all my fanboy buttons.

Very excited for the Turtles in Space arc and the likely timey-wimey resolution to this cliffhanger. And for once I'm thankful for all the delays this year so I don't have to wait quite as long! (Right? ...right?)

Holy oh my what the?!!!

Just grabbed the episode from ITunes and watched it cold turkey (no spoilers) and MAN that was nuts! So many incredible moments, I'm still trying to process it all. I love how they managed to get just about every main character into this episode and each of them had at least one stand-out moment, however small. Not only that, they still managed to squeeze in all those new characters!

And was I the only one surprised by the return of Kraang Sub-prime? When I heard his voice over the image of the Technodrome I was like "WHAT?! It can't be! Not again!" And then sure enough there he was, business as usual. Don't get me wrong I think he's entertaining and was happy to see him but what is that guy made of?! Of all the characters that supposedly died in this episode he is the one I completely expect to reappear with or without convoluted plot devices. He's survived being crushed by debris, he's survived a Technodrome crash that resulted in a catastrophic explosion and now he's been vaporized by a Triceraton ship and his remnants sucked into a black hole. NOTHING kills that guy he's like a cockroach!

Brilliant episode. I enjoyed it from start to finish.
With a title like "Annihalation: Earth" that actually does what it says.. You're in for a treat.
Of course, as many have said, with a target audience of kids, you have to chill at the end and kind of forget that you've just killed off everyone on the planet: not to mention the planet itself.

It was also nice to see just about every character who meant something, back in the episode. Even if some had only moments of screen time, it was nice to see them again.

Now, the last scenes, setting up next season. I have high hopes for these Turtles in Space episodes. I like their ship, the Fugitoid and their enemy. Really looking forward to what comes next.

Final verdict on the episode; my favorite of the season.

And I just HAD to make this:

i enjoyed that episode but that ending was lame.
As I said. It is more likely the Turtles were in shock about all that has happened such as their Father/Teacher was murdered in front of them. And all their loved ones, everything they have known has been destroyed before their very eyes. And they were all that was left.

That is emotionally a lot to process for them so the full impact of grief more then likely would not have hit them just yet. But they are clearly shaken by all that has transpired.

Casey's cases of forgetting everything now they are going on an adventure appears as though he is moving past all the other grief stages and going straight into acceptance. i.E. the world is gone, were all that's left. Lets blow this Popsicle stand.

But if you think about it it's more he's experiencing all stages at once which is even more tragic.

Denial- Knowing the world is destroyed and everything he's known and loved aside from his companions is gone. And there is a chance it won't be there when they return from their journey.

Anger- Wanting something to pay for the destruction of earth.

Fear-Knowing that he's the last male human in existence, and they are heading off to an unknown reality where anything could happen.

Bargaining-Hoping there is a way they can stop the destruction of earth and save everyone.

And Acceptance- Knowing the only thing they could do right then was move forward for the sake of those they have lost.

This seriously may be hands down on of the best TMNT episode of any series.
It had EVERYTHING!
And while I knew about what Shredder did I didn't know he did it as Splinter was about to save Earth.
I really wish Tiger Claw would have shot Shredder, man just when you think you can't hate someone more they go and get Earth destroyed.
There are so many holy crap moments in this episode that I was like this most of the time.
I guess there's no chance of befriending the Triceratons in this version.
Other things that really got me are Mondo being smashed, Muckman being blown to bits,& Rockwells helmet being smashed.
I loved the inclusion of everyone but it did suck that Baxter got left out.

How has NO ONE mentioned possibly the greatest Leonardo moment of all time?!

Completely owning The Triceratons after seemingly an empty threat rivalled his "Let Karai go and I'll let you all live!" line earlier on in the Season.

Exclamation Amazing!

I...I.. have no words. This was the best episode of TMNT I've ever seen. I can't believe Splinter...died! Shredder just stabbed him, right in the back, and you could SEE it! I cried so hard! I'm still in a loss of words! Bishop was pretty good. But Mikey.. poor, poor Mikey. He got scared to death over a machine that could kill him, then his father dies! I think Mikey could go through some MAJOR character development. I wouldn't be surprised if he became less happy and more like Raphael. So, everybody on Earth when Mozar put it into the black hole died? I..I need to see more. This show is fantastic. I'm gonna miss Splinter! But Shredder died as well! And how can Casey think this is "awesome"? I know he's in shock, but wow! Wasn't it implied he has a family? Well they just died! And April's dad! How are they not having emotional breakdowns? And Mikey! Quotes pepperoni? I guess it's normal to him, but how is he not having an emotional fit? Oh my God! This episode....I think this is the best incarnation of TMNT ever! Nickelodeon.....thank God you have one good show! I wanna buy the crap toys to support this show! Lord Dregg and Armaggon are coming? I cannot wait! AND ICE CREAM KITTY IS GONE!!! I'ma go cry my eyes out.

So everyone the Turtles and April/Casey known are presumedly dead (I know they'll undo it somehow in the future, but for now), and they're just...excited to be going off with Fugitoid?

The Turtles just watched their father die, April lost her father again, Casey lost whatever family he had, Karai died, all their Mutanimals friends are gone, Ick the cat is gone, etc.

I dunno, the ending was pretty weird considering what just happened.

Yeah its gotta be the most traumatic experience, seeing everyone they know and loved, and the world destroyed before there very eyes.
