I'm betting Krang will probably end up explaining where the Shredder is, as reason why he's not there. Alternately they'll probably have one of the subbing OT VA's do his voice.

I honestly think Krang is the only 80's villain appearing, because otherwise we probably would have seen models of Shredder/Bebop/Rocksteady.

I was wondering if James Avery's passing has anything to do with it. Cam and Barry are already there for Bebop and Rocksteady. Having Pat would mean Casey Jones is possible as well. WE did see him in that tease when he and April were walking down the street with the turtles. I would not mind the VA who voiced Shredder in his seven red sky appearances Bill Martin voicing him. Hope all four appear. It is odd seeing them separate of each other especially Krang without Shredder. I hope that we will get confirmation one way or another soon.

If the 80´s Shredder appears, i hope he is voiced by Townsend Coleman, he came so close to James Averys voice...it would be like the original just a little bit different

Honestly, with today's larger pool of VAs, they could probably get someone who could get even closer to James Avery's voice than any of the stand-ins from the original series. I'd certainly be interested to see something like that.

The guy who did him in Turtles Forever was pretty good. I'm not sure if they can use him though.

Just imagine an interaction between '80s Shredder and 2012 Shredder, holy crap. This is something I NEED to see.

You could have 2012 Turtles fighting '80s Shredder and they're all like, "Man, this is so easy!"

Meanwhile, you've got 2012 Shredder bathing in the blood of the '80s Turtles.

Just remember when the 2003's Turtles warned the 80's Turtles about their Shredder back in "Turtles Forever":

+ 2003 Mikey: COMPETENT!!!

I wanted to laugh after Mikey comment, but it was too serious for that. I mean, everyone would agree with it. The 80's Shredder is like a Rodeo Clown compared with the 2003's Utrom Shredder. However, I think it would be interesting to see the 2003's Utrom Shredder against the 2012's Human Shredder. 2012's Shredder surely doesn't have the Utrom Shredder's kind of power with his robotic suit; but even so, I believe they are equal when we talk about evil, lethal and madness factors.

And by the way, I don't think the 80's Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady will be abandoned in the crossover. In the worst case, they will simply stay in the 80's dimension while 80's Kraang does his stuff in the 2012's dimension. Besides, they mentioned that we could see the 80's turtles in CGI, even although they didn't show CGI models. Classic strategy to keep fans impatient.
