Is it wrong of me that I want the official explaination for Shredder's absence to be that his incompetence killed him? I know that might seem in bad taste, seeing how the real reason he won't show up is that Avery died, but I would still think that would pretty funny. I even have a few examples kicking around in my head right now.

He tries to reinstall his command chair after Ch'rell had it replaced, only for him to trip while carrying it so it falls over on him, crushing him to death.
A somewhat sillier re-enactment of the climax to the first movie, right into the back of a garbage truck.
He uses a "Bring movies to lif machine" on the last episode of Crognard and then the dragon eats him.

Again, nothing against Avery, I just think Fred Wolf Shredder actually dying because of his own mistakes would be funny.

I wanted to laugh after Mikey comment, but it was too serious for that. I mean, everyone would agree with it. The 80's Shredder is like a Rodeo Clown compared with the 2003's Utrom Shredder. However, I think it would be interesting to see the 2003's Utrom Shredder against the 2012's Human Shredder. 2012's Shredder surely doesn't have the Utrom Shredder's kind of power with his robotic suit; but even so, I believe they are equal when we talk about evil, lethal and madness factors.

And by the way, I don't think the 80's Shredder, Bebop and Rocksteady will be abandoned in the crossover. In the worst case, they will simply stay in the 80's dimension while 80's Kraang does his stuff in the 2012's dimension. Besides, they mentioned that we could see the 80's turtles in CGI, even although they didn't show CGI models. Classic strategy to keep fans impatient.

The competent part kills me every time I see it.

I honestly think 2012 Shredder could take on the 2003 Shredder because 2012 is stronger than 2003 in my opinion. I mean, he beats the hell out of the Turtles, he took down the Turtles AND the Mutanimals at the same time, and was able to take on MULTIPLE Triceratons. That'd definitely be one helluva fight.

One thing's for sure, I wanna see the 2012 Turtles fight the '80s Shredder, and then have '80s Turtles fight 2012 Shredder.

I totally agree. I want to see 2003 Shredder fight the 2012 Turtles, 2003 Shredder fight 2012 Shredder, 2003 Turtles fight 2012 Shredder. But this crossover might not happen.

On the other hand can you imagine 2012 Donnie's reaction when he sees 2003 Casey and April married, lol.

well we won't know until the episodes come out. the animation studio might just surprise us.

I watched the Time Travel episodes in Family Guy the other day and it made me think what could happen to the Turtles, April and Casey when they go back in time to stop earth from getting destroyed.

So I have a feeling that the Turtles, April and Casey will end up sacrificing themselves (so maybe another tear jerker could be coming up) to save earth (or if they save earth anyway they will just fade away) so the past Turtles, April and Casey will be become the new present Turtles, April and Casey (and obviously everyone else who got sucked into a blackhole) will have a new future.

I hope it's clear

That would actually open a lot of interesting possibilities for Season 4, as nothing would ultimately be canon! So you could have all kinds of things happen throughout the episodes that would then be reversed at the end of the arc.

For example; a resolution of the Donnie/April/Casey love triangle, a significant injury/loss, some manner of confession, etc.

Actually, I looked closer at it, and those aren't HIS ribs- they're part of the suit. You can see his skin underneath. It's lighter in the front part, and darker around the side, like the rest of his skin. So apparently, it's not his insides we see, it's just that his suit doesn't cover that area. Maybe it got damaged and he put the "ribs" there to patch it.

Depends on which version of Krang's "race" you go by. In a couple of episodes, they are ALL shown as being brains, as opposed tot he lizard-guys. There's still debate as to which one is the "real" version. I'm guessing the Nick show went with the brain version.

Was there any conformation if Casey & April are with the Turtles when they are in 80s World?

Because I'm beginning to think the only reason they put April in a yellow jumpsuit for the space arc was to see herself wearing the same thing and have an awkward "OMG" moment.

There was also another time traveling episode that future Stewie changed the past and meets past Stewie but this time past Stewie kills future Stewie and past Stewie became the new present Stewie So I have a feeling that the Turtles, April and Casey will end up sacrificing themselves (so maybe another tear jerker could be coming up) to save earth (or if they save earth anyway they will just fade away) so the past Turtles, April and Casey will be become the new present Turtles, April and Casey (and obviously everyone else who got sucked into a blackhole) will have a new future.
