Looks like Rey is the main character, with Finn as her co-star. I'm not digging the Darth Vader clone/ripoff whatever he turns out to be. Feels too same-y.

The action scenes look great.

I wish they went with a more interesting lead villain. Feels like one of those "faux replacements" where they know they can't possibly follow up a popular villain so they make the new character so similar to the previous.

The rest of the trailer was good, but I am concerned about the villain. I liked what the comics did with Thrawn and went with a completely unique looking villain.

That kind of reaction would be warranted if he was talking about that woman being the main character for the hundredth time, but he has a point about the villain. It's almost exactly Darth Vader. Criticisms are allowed, even for Star Wars.

I would not judge it until you have seen it Cubed. Darth Vadar appears to have been misunderstood in the circumstances of his death. People are unaware that he died a redeemed hero and instead of ending the Empire and erasing the Darkside with his action that cost him his own life he is apparently a martyr, but that too may be too strong a statement as we don't know, but so much and honestly that is the way it should be.

I was disappointed at not seeing Luke in the trailer. There was that same still which Luke reached for R2-D2, but that was it. We get to see Leia briefly for the first time, but still no C3P0.

They've already said Kylo Ren is obsessed with Vader so he works for me as a villain. He's probably related to him.
