Pretty good ep overall, thought it was funny how Leo was going after a karai lookalike

Not sure if its just me but the robot at that weapon merchant stand really looks like something out of fallout

This is how I interpreted it. After they travelled back in time 6 months, the Splinter of the past was at home with his sons of the past. The turtles on board the spaceship are the turtles of the future. So when the Splinter of the past ultimately dies 6 months later (if the turtles of the future don't do anything to stop that from happening), the turtles of the past will become the turtles of the future, or in this case, present.
Hopefully that makes sense.

Huh, so I dunno if anyone noticed this, but one of the bits of animation improvement this season is April's nails are actually natural nail color now and not all off white anymore. That bit always bugged me. Cause ya know it's not nail polish as the clones had the same color nails.

So Honeycutt mentioned the Federation, saying that they should be careful on that planet since it's not part of the Federation. This is interesting to say the least, seeing how the Federation is something the Fugitoid from Mirage and 4Kids would avoid given that they're the ones he's a fugitive of. So if he's not a fugitive of the Federation, who is he a fugitive of?

He said he was summoned by Bishop, perhaps he is like his IDW incarnation and was formerly a neutrino slave of the Kraang. And now he works for the Utroms to help stop the Kraang.

If there are no past turtles, then we'd get to see how Earth fares without them for a time, which would be neat to see, and which could potentially allow the human vs mutant movement to begin without the turtles there to help protect the city. But we'd also have to retread some ground to redo some plots, like Karai, Mondo and Zog. Since Leo wasn't at all worried about the Kraang still inhabiting New York and firing a missile to mutate the planet or all the missing people, I'm assuming six months is at some point after Battle for New York.

I think it's easier for the show to just have the past turtles doing what they're doing, and then have the future turtles somehow take their place or become one or something. Maybe Fugitoid knows how. That way some plots or episodes don't end up becoming obsolete.

This episode in general is a lot more lighthearted than I thought it was going to be, which isn't a bad thing. Dregg is a lot less evil and intimidating than I thought as well. I guess I was expecting some Mozar level of seriousness and intimidation.

April was just great in this episode. And we got more Casey and Raph. Fugitiod was the best. So overall a good episode.

I'm also a bit surprised none of the turtles mentioned how nice or different it was to finally be able to walk around among the general public.

I kinda have a feeling that by the time they wrap up this space travel plot, it's going to be a little like a mix of the events of Back to the Future Part 2 and Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me where they see their past selves doing exactly what they did before in the season finale, but at some point they manage to save the day.

I enjoyed the episode quite a bit but I knew I would because of all of the new stuff to look at and the new characters.
The chef sort of reminded me of Bellybomb who I hope the groups runs across in space.
It all reminds me quite a bit of Star Wars but I guess that's ok 2k3 sort of did the same thing.
I'd have loved to see them go into a bar / restaurant and give us a bunch of random characters we may never get otherwise.
Lord Dreggs design is absolutely beautiful fully animated.
Playmates did a decent job on the figure but they should have added glitter to the plastic to really give it the full effect of the show.
I'm a bit confused about Dreggs children though are they robots or what?
I mean they had goo come out of them but they also sparked.
Their designs also remind me of Micronauts Kronos mixed with Power Lords Arkus.

I cracked up at the end when Mikey said Space Apples as I said oh sh1t!
I can't wait to see how the hell they're going to get out of this one.

I wonder about that too, cause if they managed to stop the earth from being destroyed, the Turtles, April and Casey from there timeline would cease to exist.

I said this a couple of weeks ago and I also said if they know this then maybe they could end up sacrificing themselves to save earth.

Once again, how do they get so much in such a small amount of time? They even managed to get a few moments to reflect on seeing space for the first time.

I personally loved this episode quite a bit. I'm not taking the show as seriously anymore and I'm enjoying it a lot more. I love them in space, everything about them in space. I actually liked April for the first time. I loved how vulnerable she felt in the orange spacesuit and she covered her breasts with her arms to hide herself from them.

I loved Leo the entire episode with space heroes and all that. Maybe someday he'll be a captain too. I felt bad for Lord Dregg, I didn't know him before this episode, but the guys didn't respect him from the beginning. They acted like arrogant little kids pestering an adult because they have the ability to fight. I was on Dregg's side in this situation.

So, what did that emotion cube mean when April was holding it as she looked at Donnie?

That's one possibility, They sacrificing themselves results in a new timeline, where the Earth survives, and then it continues from there, So all the adventures the Turtles have in space would have never happen as a result of a new timeline that's created.

Actually Leo did apologize to Dregg for bumping into him but he just punched him away and told him not to touch him so Dregg was the rude one and of course The turtles April and Casey didn't know who they were dealing with, they didn't know he's a dangerous criminial and of course it got worse when he lost his "spice".

If that happend to you and you ran into a drug dealer by accident during a drug deal, (and even though you apologize) how do you think he would react, most likely you be getting beaten up, shot or stabbed.

It's not stupid a person knows what time it is by looking at where the sun is in the sky. Classic westerns do that all the time, is that awful writing too?

Maybe it's you just don't understand things. Don't blame the writers and act like they don't know what they're doing or talking about just because you don't get something.

There is no way to immediately determine where in Earth's revolution around they sun they are at this specific point in time...

... because you cannot immediately determine the position of Earth's axis from the location they parked in.

Nevermind that the second picture gets the moon phase right - waning crescent - but the first one somehow shows a new moon.

You can't use "Donatello is really smart" to explain every distortion of logic the show makes. He's more a caricature of autism at this point, and that's not good writing, either.

Totally agree, that'd look really dope. I think his grunts are supposed to be techno-organic, which is how they get away with "killing" them. Works for me.

Dude, I think you're looking WAAAAY too into this. It's a cartoon about talking turtles that know martial arts. You gotta suspend at least some disbelief.

Sir, this is a CARTOON. Not every single thing's going to be scientifically factual. Not everything is going to have some elaborate explanation, buddy. And, trust me, I get what you're saying. Donnie can't be that smart
But you made your point, people disagree because there are some that can- by just the position of the sun- tell time- a lot in fact- and I'm sure he's not the only guy that could tell what time period it is by the position of the Earth. Quite possibly he could've been able to tell the season- Spring or Summer, Winter or Fall- and estimated by that.
In short, we don't know how our purple clad genius found that out, but getting this flustered over it? It's not that big of a deal, now is it?

This isn't Gravity Falls, where the show purposely drops hidden clues that reveal something cryptic about the storyline. This is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Honestly, there aren't many things that are more random-sounding than that. Just, don't look too deep into it. This series isn't one to pay attention to every detail (sans Karai's Vendetta), so you probably shouldn't, either
