Will be curious to see if the Turtles figures change at all. With toy sales on the line, surely they would, though those big scuplted guys in that other thread have me questioning if their gear/clothing will remain the same. (I'd at least like to see Leo figures with his proper footwear. heh)

If we look at these life size statues from the other thread, we can see that Mikey, Leo and Raph have the exact same designs. They have the same faces and body, and maybe the same clothes : Leo still has his armor (not completed though), Mikey still has his jogging and shoes, and Raph is certainly naked (which is normal, because his 2014 outfit doen't have to be sculpted, it's only clothes). However Donnie seems to be the only one to have a brand new design. He's bigger and bulkier, and doensn't have all of his ****** tech-nerd-stuff yet.

Agreed. I'm haunted by the statement from Cinemacon that said they "Looked very different than we've seen before, but still recognizeable"

...and now that I look to pull up that specific report, I can't find it anywhere. Damned multiverse playing Berenst(e)ain games with me.

Still - even IDW turned Bebop into more of a pig - and maybe it doesn't matter - especially when the turtles are tortoises - still ...

Nah, the BayTurtles aren't tortoises, they are Box Turtles that look and act like Red-Eared Sliders, that lived on a Pizza based diet while being experimented on. And when they mutated they turned into 7ft tall humanoid Box Turtles that do not look anything like a Slider....

See, makes all kinds of sense.
