Yeah, I'm fine with Christmas stuff, too. I just think it's become too early too soon for all of that to go out, but it's been that way since the recession. I just always remember when the commercials would start playing during the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and how awesome it was. But now they're playing shortly after Halloween, and it's just out of control to me. I'm not ready for Christmas yet! Hell, I'm not ready for winter yet, but we just received our first snowfall on Saturday. Too early! Too early!

Halloween isn't a big deal here, and we obviously don't celebrate Thanksgiving, so there is nothing standing in Santa's way. We had Christmas displays up in some department stores as early as September this year. Good thing too - if they didn't remind me to spend it, I don't know what I'd do with my money.

The commercialism grates, but what bothers me more is that we're walking around in 34 degree weather with 85 percent humidity at the moment, and everywhere you look there's fake snow and fake pine trees and the dude in the fluffy red suit and people singing about roasting chestnuts over an open fire. All of which combine to make the heat feel even more oppressive.

34 degrees??!! Hon, that's scarf and jacket weather here! Or are you talking Celcius? I'm just ticked that our store is supposedly staying open all day today. So much for MY happy Thanksgiving. Can't even enjoy a friggin holiday around here because the greedy rat-b@ast@rd owners want to try to wring every dollar out of the place they can get. And we're deader that sh*t so far, so that ain't much.

I don't mind the cold, it's only -3 here during daylight, but the ground is freezing over and it makes bike riding to work a bit hazardous. Not too keen on taking the buss again as I've given up monthly buss card due to cost issues, and the buss company are assholes with the buss routes and schedules.

Premature grind... working Black Friday.

But, I'm due in at 10am, so I HOPE maybe the craziest surge of people will be back home in bed by that hour.

I also no longer work at a mall store, so I hope that will also make it a tad easier compared to other Black Fridays I've done.

There is a job I have to do every year for our CEO; it is always stressful, last minute, long hours BS - and almost every year, one of my co-workers starts a bunch of unnecessary personal drama at exactly the same time. I just want to get this thing done - I don't want to be in the middle of feuding personality disorders.

Surgeon Simulator. Worst game ever. It makes me want to clone & subsequently beat to death my very own self. I wish I had a time machine so I could stop the 6 hours ago me from buying it, even at the low cost of $1.99.

The game is a joke, though.

Not that it's the type of humour everyone likes.

The guy who forced me out of bed to join an extended family hike at 6am today. I still love him, but it's like he forgot I have a small offspring who still wakes us up every two hours. At least my wife was exempt from the Post-Thanksgiving Trail of Tears.

Cold rainy weather when I have to carry a bunch of bags home after shopping when I get off work. Anybody know how hard it is to juggle an umbrella and an arm load of shopping bags? Not to mention wet feet....

I know, & that's fine, I own Goat Simulator, I'm into the wacky ass genre to an extent. But this sh*t is straight up unplayable. The gimmick is funny for all of 5 minutes, but if you actually want to accomplish something, it's an exercise in futility. I though I could at least make it past the first level...

Since I was alone on Thanksgiving & was gonna rain heavily, I thought I'd help out a homeless person by taking him home to share my Thanksgiving dinner.

He kept going out & about, arriving hours late & making excuses. He was going to a grocery store across the street & took him 90 minutes to get a bottle of Coke. Shades of Drake & Josh Go Hollywood when it took Drake 90 minutes to get a corn dog.

JOSH: It took you that long to get a corn dog?
DRAKE: I also got me a soda.

So he was ticked off when I told him to leave. Doing a good deed backfired on me. Least I didn't get robbed.

Oh, yeah, fair enough. I only really play it when I'm drunk or something myself. I once played QWOP when I was tripping balls and it was the funniest **** I've ever done, but I can't stand it sober.

When I can't find an ink pen, that grinds my gears. I guess I need to buy some new ones.

Another gear grinder is when people think you're a guy or assume you're male, or hit on or flirt with you excessively if they know you're girl.

Heh, it's easier to just shorten that second gear grinder to: The Internet.
