I can't tell what's real or what is The Onion when it comes to Trump. He's like a parody of a parody.

Scary Movie the Movie 16 kind of parody.

Donald Trump is pretty much the poster child for why non-Americans are afraid of America.

I'm not sure what would make someone overwhemingly aroused inside a Wal-Mart. That had to be a PCP or bath salts situation.

I personally find Donald Trump funny.

And it's not like he'd be able to pull a lot of crazy ****, since he'd have a senate and a congress to deal with. President of the USA isn't an undisputed dictator. The most significant thing he'd do would most likely be provoke another war in the ME or somewhere else... like most American presidents have done post-WW2.

Trump doesn't scare me because he's playing a role. What scares me is that every time he talks, you go on Yahoo and check the comments section and find out that MOST Americans really agree with what he says and just never say it out loud themselves for fear of vilification. Even HE doesn't really believe any of what he says, if you think he does you have no idea how The Game works, the problem is he's saying what Most People want to hear.

And that's fine. Frankly him or Hillary are both awful people who would be awful at running things for entirely different reasons. What I like about Trump, is that every day, he proves right my suspicion that society really isn't as "progressive" as we pretend to be, and we're just one or two bad days and an angry mob away from the entire thing collapsing on itself, and that's something I really enjoy. I enjoy it when people expose "civilization" as a great big lie. He's doing great at that, can't front!

Not just Americans. I know a few Europeans who like him too. Because he's funny and politically incorrect.

This is why god gave us Bernie Sanders.

Also, to really learn how nasty society is and how not-progressive we are, just try living as one of them there minorities. Especially the oh-so-disgusting-and-scary "slight against god" LGBT kind.

Pay particular attention to the T, there.

I do admit, even if I disagree with everything a person says, I'll find myself becoming a fan of theirs if they've got giant balls and are oblivious or uncaring about what kind of reaction they invite. I mean every time I watch Trump, I'm just like, "THIS motherf***er!" And people believe in him! They think he's serious! It's amazing! How can you not root for a guy like that, just a LITTLE bit, y'know?

Wrestlers love the guy, no joke. Most wrestlers are well aware that politics is fake and elections are rigged, because they're experts on that kind of thing and can see right through it, so they just root for the soundbites and the headlines, and he delivers consistently on that sh*t. The entire reason Trump is out there is because he's a cartoon, and people like cartoons. What they don't like, is boring politics and junk. With voter turnout at record lows, they need a gimmick to get people interested. Mission Accomplished. It's fun to watch but scary, too. Scary because most people are so dumb they actually think he's going to do - or would be able to do - anything he says he wants to do. NONE of them do ANYthing they say they're going to do, that's the joke! I'unno man.

Either way, they call it "Political Theater" for a reason, and he's laughing all the way to the bank on this one. I can't believe he's still in it. But that's the rub, he's in it because he's what most people want.

Ah well.

I think Trump did a decent job at playing a face back in WM 23. Then again, anyone can look like a godo guy next to Mr. McMahon

And yea, it's obvious he says a lot of over the top **** to get a reaction out of it an get votes from the less informed and more bigoted voters. Sometimes I wonder if he's actually serious about running for office and isn't doing all of this just for the lulz

My feelings on Trump are mixed. On the one hand, the man absolutely terrifies me, because yes, people do take him seriously, people LIKE him, and people might VOTE for him. The idea of him becoming president is enough to make me want to tell my friends in Europe "hey can I marry one of you peeps so I can flee the country?" And let me tell you, fleeing this country, as much as I hate it, would only be an absolute last resort.

But on the other hand... holy **** he's hilarious. He's like if CyberCubed ran for president. I try not to give Trump too much attention and just laugh quietly to myself regarding him, but enjoyment is definitely had, there.

Running to Europe? A continent that's been in crisis for some years now? Where would you go to? Also, something tells me you'd not like moving to Hungary or Poland right now, and maybe not to France next year either.

Move to Canada or something. It's closer even.

Yeah, I'm aware it's not perfect, but neither is the US. I'd move to Canada if any of my closer friends lived there, definitely. I like [almost] everything about it. But I've got no way to really get there.

Yep that's the main country I was thinking since one of my oldest friends lives there. I've got a Dutch friend too though.

The Pound is strong... but the country has a high crime rate for Western European standards, if I'm not mistaken. Plus, Britain includes Scotland, which has a lot of issues. Northern England doesn't sound very appealing either. You're better off remaining in the States, which is doing better than Europe atm.

Germany or Switzerland would be fairly safe choices, I'd say. Norway a few years ago as well. The unemployment rate has climbed up a bit recently there...

It would be nice if Trump was only in it to pull back the curtain and expose that the entire thing is just a big popularity contest that's really more like a census than anything meaningful... but it's been long enough now so that I don't think the Powers-That-Be would let him keep doing it.

I think it probably started as a joke and then grew from there. I'm not sure if they're actually going to let him win. They had absolutely everything invested in following up the "First Black President" gimmick with the "First Woman President" gimmick, back-to-back, to prove to the world how America isn't racist OR sexist anymore - how precious, if only it were that simple - and they probably informally promised Hillary that if she sat on the side for 2008-2016 and didn't make too many waves that she'd be next in line and given her turn. But I don't think they were counting on the fact that a lot more people just plain HATE Hillary Clinton, and with good reason, than they expected. So now it's like, "Okay, we actually have to pretend to have an election, and actually try and make it interesting." But at the same time, they can't have someone on the Republican side who's overwhelmingly popular.

I'm pretty sure Hillary will "win" because she was supposed to get it in 2008. But this Trump thing at least stirs it up a bit. I don't think they'd let him actually win, though, too controversial. They have to at least pretend an election took place and people actually chose the person to win. Lots of people like Trump in private but most won't sign their name to it.

Either way, it's all gonna be fine. If the last 8 years have proven anything, it's that even the ones with the Biggest Promises In The World are ultimately pretty impotent about the follow-through. How's them ocean tides doing, Barry? They gettin' any lower? The planet "Healed" itself yet, like you said it would? Got Global warming licked yet? I tell ya.

So yeah, relax, nothing matters. Bozo the f*cking Clown could get elected President and little if anything would change. It's all for show. Individual politicians have no power, everything is owned by the pharmaceutical industry and Marlboro f*cking cigarettes, who buy and sell people like Barry, Trump, and Hillary like little board game pieces. You have no actual choice and they, ultimately, have no actual power.

So it's all good! I mean, unless you're one of those naive children who actually believes "democracy" can be a thing.

A lot of people around the world was happy with Obama winning in 2008 and thought he was pretty cool. And then got disappointed that he's just like any other American president, causing wars in the ME . People never learn. I always found Obama quite fake. Especially the way he tiptoes around questions. But yea, since he's a good talker and quite charismatic, people fall for his facade.

Crime rates don't really bother me, I lived in Las Vegas. I value the countries for the laws they might grant me; laws I have little to no chance of ever getting in Texas of all places.
