This is some battle... But honestly speaking, the playmates figures do suck. The paint apps, articulation etc. suck. However, no one ever said that these are "collector" figures. They are made for kids. We as adults collect them, but really? Are we really gonna argue about how some of us like these figures and some of us don't?

Wrists would be nice. But he has a cut joint and hinge joint at the elbow. So can be got in a number of great poses with his other joints. The previous Beast in the line had even more articulation but was cat Beast. As for accessories... it's Beast. He doesn't lend himself to accessories. They include accessories when it's fitting the character. Also as noted before they're 4".

Also you didn't address any of the counterpoints made. So enjoy your TMNT. It's not worth the effort.. which is Playmates's motto.

The new van is done and looks cool. I have yet to unbox it and add the stickers, but I aim to do so today.

And I liked a comment above, referring to Hot Toys.
Good analogy; I picked up Luke, Vader and Obi Wan HT figures last night for my SW display. They cost, well, more than Turtles figures. They are hi end, (relatively) expensive figures. When bringing price points into the equation, I find the Turtles figures meet my (general) expectations. It would be so cool if they were accompanied by superior paint apps, but they are not. That said, if you want that level of outcome, the hobby becomes more interactive. With the sculpts being what they are (generally pretty impressive), it is easy to have the figures painted up to a superior presentation. I love my Baxter Fly figure, but he needed a bit of fine art work which I (OK, a mate) applied.

where's that van like vehicle u posted pics of earlier? are there gonna be any more like that? any other playsets?
This is the playset:

No spoiler as its more of the same.

The truck is advertised like this:
Spoiler:

It is the only vehicle advertised. The bikes are pre-requisites in any Turtles set. For TMNT, they issued stunt bikes for ALL Turtles. Only rap should have had one (so that's the only one I got), but as you know Turtles and bikes still make pretty cool combo sets.

What counterpoints? The one where u said i contradict myself? I did not compare them to Marvel Legends, i was asking you for examples. It was a question, not a statement.

Also, MU are 3 3/4 inch, no matter how much you try to sugarcoat it, they're that tiny. You'd probably be able to get away with it if you were dissing the standard Nickelodeon line which are 4" (but most of them around 4.5" really) but this is the movie turtles we're talking about.... they are bigger, average of 5". It's good that you love your hasbro figures, but you're in the wrong forum.

The point i'm trying to make is.... there are no perfect toy companies. If there is, tell me and i'll collect that line. Every company has their problems.

David you are right... the sewer looks too similar, urgghhh.....

Playmates going all out with the second movie, so many more toys compared to the first one.
Did they really make that much money off the first movie? I thought everyone hated the design of the turtles.

They do but all of the points you make are completely either A) invalid or B) subjective. I'm convinced you've never seen a single toy in real life outside of Playmates'. There's defending what you like, and there's pressing your lips to their bum so hard that you permanently smell like it, and you're doing the latter.

I'm happy to see Krang, did we know about him and the Technodrome being in the movie? To be perfectly honest I have not been following the movie news at all. Everything looks pretty good...but what's up with those turtle variants? And why is Donnie the only one who doesn't get one? Well I mean I know WHY, but still...it annoys me

There's a scene in the movie (assuming it's not cut out like Undercover Raph's was) where they're going through a Halloween parade. I'm assuming Don is elsewhere at the time, though it's possible they opted to skip him given he sells less than the other turtles do.

It is disappointing not to have complete sets.
My biggest disappointment is the lack of the 11" DX Don. Almost defeats the purpose of getting three of them, as my other 11" sets all have the 4 characters.

Eh, it'll be out in 5 months. The trailers spoil a lot as it is, might as well hope for some surprises.

But yeah, it's crazy that they skip Donatello sometimes. I'd never buy any variants that aren't a full set, unless I just wanted one of them for whatever reason.

Yeah, I'm sure that thread is pretty crazy anyway...maybe it's best I stay away

And same, to me there's no point in buying them if one is clearly missing. I mean it makes sense if Donnie really isn't in that party scene, but they do it a lot with the Nick line too so there's really no excusing it...

Don's the only turtle I buy any secondary figures of (like outside of the basic releases) so it sucks when he keeps getting cut.

Says there are, but fail to mention one. How convenient.

Probably the company that gives you the most bang for your buck out there is NECA but NECA has problem securing major popular licenses so they're stuck to making toys from the 80s. There's your problem right there with NECA.

No, you said that "Every company has their problems" & he said "They do". He agreed with your point.

Reading comprehension. Double check before you take a tone.
