Compared to the single release most people would call that better paint apps, but to each his own.

The last movie van was issued with a figure as well, as mentioned. I don't recall the exclusivity of the figure being worth chasing.
For my money it just makes for a bigger box to display

Having watched Krang in the trailer I thought I'd redo my FG Krang display to house the variants.

Great picture yo! I'm so jelly over that Gokin Krang

The Gokin figure was the only Turtles figure to have the privelage of being in the main cabinet
That will change when I add the 3Zero movie Turtles after the holiday.

The green paint was actually more of a camo green, very different from the basic release. The van leo figure actually looked a bit better.

Because the entire thing does look metallic? Just some parts are flesh colored. And also... you know... to make him look somewhat like the 80's design too.

He doesn't exactly look like a real flesh and blood human here...

The turtles don't exactly look like real flesh & blood creatures either. Fault the CGI.

My kiddos want these new figures really bad. I think they look a lot better than the first movie. My main complaint is I wish they would paint the eyes on the turtles like they did in the 1990s movie figures back when I was a kid.

The pupils they've done for other figures in the last few years have been pretty awful, we're probably better off with whites. It's a simple fix to do yourself, fortunately.

Pupils on turtle figures are always derpy. Anyway, the whites look more ninja like. (well, like the typical cartoony depiction of ninja)

Trying a lil experiment with a couple of apps.
If this works I can present these videos for future releases.

As someone said, video is better than a pic.

Did it work?
Done properly on an iDevice it allows you full motion control.
If successful , I'll build a rig so I can do full 360s allowing viewers full freedom of movement for the viewing if the figures.

Cheers.
I just checked it out myslf and it works via a handle that appears if you are not on a touch screen device.
With a rig that I have sketched out, I will prepare a couple of 180 or 360 fyuses tomorrow.
