For all the potential this episode brought, it didn't quite deliver like it could have. Besides Dregg perhaps ruining yet another TMNT series, it felt too predictable with the incoming attacks, escapes, fragment retrieval, and teaser for the next episode. Too much comic relief with Chompy and the Fugitoid, and the Triceratons felt a bit too silly here, and I really wanted more communication between them and Dregg to make it more interesting. There was a scary moment though with Casey/April nearly falling into the fire though. The end of this arc can't come soon enough.

Overall: 5/10

Yeah and Mikey falling into the lava was also scary.

It's his opinion, let's not start another debate over disagreements. I don't feel Chompy was comic relief, but his main purpose this episode was just to be adorable outside the story with Tokka.

I'm betting so, this was a silly season with a serious overarching plot, give the writers a chance to have all sorts of fun! I'm cool with it, because I've been LOVING the monster designs we've been getting.

Pretty good, definitely left me wanting the next episode right now. And... well that was easy to see coming, the part of the ground is the back of Tokka and she's Chompy's mother... yup. (And had kind of figured all along that the Turtles would have to try to stop everything once again on Earth or nearly there.)

I guess we know the actual fate of the world someday then (meanwhile Turtles are oblivious to this detail lol), destined to turn into a ball of lava thanks to Chompy; lets hope he (or should it really be she if Tokka presumably is a mateless space monster and they just hatch out clone babies as a replacement) takes eons to become what mom is/was.

Chompy - adorable. ICK has some new competition for cute pet once they get home. Though that sound may get annoying if overdone. Nick and Playmates... hope there is going to be a toy Chompy out there at some point.

It was a pretty good episode, Chompy was cute, I just wonder how Slash is gonna react when he sees Raph having a new pet.

Probably betrayed "RAPH! Are you CHEATING ON ME?!" Leading to a very awkward discussion.

Did anybody see Cudley the Cowlick as one of the six cosmic monsters?

Spoiler:
Well, turns out the paradox is mostly resolved, sort of. We know how the Triceratons got the pieces in the first place. Now it's a matter of putting the Earth back in place. Changing the timeline sort of doesn't work, since they'd cancel themselves out.

Spoiler:
And that Gamera shoutout with Tokka. I'm just waiting for someone to play the theme song after she (...I GUESS) blasts into space.

This episode was great, people who don't think the space episodes are well done are kidding themselves. They all have unique landscapes to base episodes on with different planets and ship battles.

Triceratons and Dregg were well done. I also like this version of Tokka being a giant fire breathing Turtle...although I do perhaps wonder if Chompy will turn into "Tokka Jr." at some point on Earth.

It seems like Granitor is another one of the six beings for some reason?
Cudley Cowlick I can understand, though.
And who are the other three? Cthulu, a tick, and Audrey II?

Okay, not Audrey II, it's Hiidalra's pet in The Cosmic Ocean.

The amount of times Mikey nearly getting killed in this episode, also saving April a few times these past few episodes.

I feel that they are foreshadowing something bad will happen to Mikey maybe from saving someone's life.

it was a good episode but there were too many 'oh no! we're falling into lava!' moments.

Wow! So many close calls there.

Absolutely loved Tokka! What a spectacle. Chompy too. Not only will he make a new addition to the family, but also something to show for the space arc. I can see him/her sticking around for the long run.

The way Fugitoid pilots the ship his head exposed in the control panel reminds me of the Zeroids from Terrahawks. Just dawned on me.
